  1. Correct, the adapter will join the 69G to the bell housing. No need to worry about the input shaft I am in talks with Quaife about getting one made up which will have the correct spline and be the correct length. After a bit more research I best stick with the V160/161 housing for ease, I Will just have to keep my eye out for a bell housing from a dead box.
  2. Hi All, Some of you may know that I am looking to change the V160 gearbox in the track car to a fully sequential Quaife 69G. I need to get hold of a bell housing to make up the adapter plate to install the Quaife box but I have come across a snag. I am aiming to sell my current V160 onwards so, in an ideal world I don’t really want to use the existing bell housing for the new gearbox (as it won’t make it very saleable) and as there are not many V160/161 lying about I doubt I will get a bell housing on its own (dead ones don’t come up very often). Does anyone know if I could use the W58 Gearbox bell housing (off a stuffed W58) along my existing RPS clutch/flywheel setup (As you still need a clutch for downshifting?) Any help is appreciated
  3. Saw the App running at Autosport, It Looks very good (very refined) and I am almost tempted to lose my RT Dash2...
  4. Hi All, Does anyone know where I can get some bolts to bolt my spare engine to my engine stand? All the ones I have are just a little too short... If anyone has any spare then I will gladly provide some compensation for them Rich
  5. A very little update, reconfigered my Dash4 display (mounted on the steering wheel) to a nice custom setup. I can monitor more parameters but I think this is good for now.
  6. Yep they are adjustable via top adjustment (Compression and Rebound). They are also ride height adjustable via the spring seat and have tender (helper) springs. They were refurbished by Chris Wilson on here before Ryan installed them on the car (hence the reason why they are not yellow and blue or Gold as they have been stripped and re-sprayed since) however since then they have not done more than 2k miles. They are a good kit although I feel they are more suited to a road car rather than a racer hence the purchase of the Nitron kit. I would like to also point out these are Japanese made Öhlins, I did a bit of research on the kit and found out that Öhlin (in Sweden) partnered up with a Japanese manufacturer (which I could not find out) to build a more affordable line of shocks (using Öhlin specs) than the others they make in Sweden. I am open to offers on these however I have an idea of what I want for them but I need to take them off the car and check them over first before I state a price. Here is a picture of them before they went onto the car.
  7. Ha yeah, it s been a difficult 4 months so far... still have a couple of months to go... Its keeping it off which will be the issue...hopefully I will be so busy with the car I wont have time to eat lol The carbon panels are going to be purely functional (and thats to be as lightweight as possible) so the finish is not "that" important, if the weave is not 100% straight I am not going to worry as in the end the external panels will be painted white to match the car, the only external part of the car which will show bare carbon will be the center of the new bonnet which will match the roof and rear spoiler and give the car a Carbon fibre Mohawk... (see red shaded area below). I think it will also make the car look a little more aggressive as it will match the carbon canards, roof and rear spoiler. The inside of the car will be a mixture of bare and painted carbon fibre.
  8. I have managed to shift 15.4kg (34lbs) off the car without spending any money!! Yep thats right I have stopped eating pies and have lost some weight... cheapest weight saving so far... only another 22lbs to go! On top of that (and more car related) Custom carbon doors, front wings, bonnet and interior panels (transmission tunnel, floor etc) are almost underway which should lighten things further (just waiting for some bits to arrive) I will be updating more on this as we go further into winter. My Öhlin suspension setup will be up for sale in order to make way for the Nitrons in the next couple of months so if anyone is interested give us a shout.
  9. Yeah they are supposed to be but now they do 105Db Static (101db drive by) days which are the ones I will be attending. Will let you know dude.

  12. Looking good dude, will have to swing past sometime and take a look. Great little ramp mate, perfect
  13. Cheers dude, Yeah it would be a waste to put them on a road car where they will not be used to their potential.
