  1. I can have a look for you mate, IIRC they are written on the springs. Actually you could do us a favour as well could you have a look at your chassis and tell me or photograph where Steve cut the holes for the Nitron remote reservoir grommets? The holes should be around 2 1/2 or 3" in diameter. Or I could pop over and have a look. Yeah, having it road legal has its benefits but also its major downsides. I am thinking of making mine non-road legal after this year and trailering it around as to be honest I don’t really drive it on the road much (apart from driving to a track) plus the clearance of the floor on mine is only 7cm which means I have to plan the journey or do a dummy run before I am due to go to make sure there are no speed bumps in the way etc. I also need to get the licence to tow and I need to get a good tow vehicle, I am thinking of a Navara or L200. £40 a day... I may have to also do that too. I was thinking of buying a used BJ trailer but even the 2nd hand ones are ££££'s It will be good to get both of them out on track and flying the Supra flag proving that the supra not just a good drift car they make awesome handling track cars too. I am planning to do Goodwood a number of times this year as well as Brands, Castle Combe, Silverstone & Abingdon.
  2. I use Millers Oils Millermatic ATF SP III - Lovely...
  3. Hi All, Looks like I am going to need to replace my PAS pump soon. Anyone know how much they are new at all? Rich
  4. YES!!! I am so happy about this I am so glad its going to be used once again as a track car!! I was wondering who bought Steve's shell. If you need any help mate let me know as you know I am not very far away. Damn this will be good once its built up we are going to have to get out on track together.. are you planning to make it Road legal or you gonna trailer it?
  5. I had R2 Racing before but a nightmare to get hold of.
  6. Good budget for finding a descent Supra. Good luck with your search
  7. If they needed cutting I would imagine that SuperPro would have precut them. So I am guessing that as they dont come precut that they are not supposed to be cut. I know that was the case when I had R2 bushes done on my last Supra (no need to cut them).
  8. Sorry didn’t get a chance to update this thread this weekend due to my Diff issue. Thankfully the Particle magnet is now out of the diff casing and I didn’t have to remove the diff to do it. Only took 8 hours in the cold.... don’t think I have ever had my arms above my head for that long... I will update soon..
  9. Hi All, Doing a service on the Supra today and went to change the Diff oil. As I undid and pulled the drain plug out it seems the Plug magnet came off?? Now I am stuck with the magnet part still in the diff housing and it wont come out I have just spent 6 hours trying to coax it out with every way I can think of but nothing, It seems to want to get a little way out then wont budge no matter what I try.. Does anyone have any suggestions apart from taking the diff out (which is my last port of call to be honest as I will have to take half of the flat floor and diffuser out as well!) I couldn't see if anyone else has had this same issue.

    Hi there

Welcome, Track cars is very much my thing we have a number of members on here which share the same passion. Do you have a Supra? If not what is your track weapon of choice?? oh and we need pics.
  12. Aye, plenty of progress but Just not has the time to write it all up lol. I will be doing a update post this sunday (when i know I have an afternoon free - finally).
  13. It does look good.. very at home on the track car I am currently looking at getting the additional 30mm mount risers as the wing could do with being a little higher.
  14. Ah so thats where it came from I knew it was supplied by a member but didnt know who...
  15. Awesome dude, make sure you get some pics of the conversion in progress..
  16. 2nd on the K&N oil filter... mainly for ease of use.
  17. Fantastic mate, and for such a worthy cause as well I would love to meet you on track once this beast is up and running. Nice one!!
  18. Yeah, I did a bit of measuring and it seems that the amount of work involved in making one fit you may as well make one from scratch. Looks like I will be making them out of Carbon then Will keep everyone posted on progress.
