  1. It wont be Steve Manley as he is at Inchcape Toyota in Oxford. Unless he has moved of course.
  2. It adds 1 billion horsepower.. It is also actually lighter then the standard one so that's my justification Honestly though its down to the fact it was for sale and it was a good price.
  3. Popped on my Carbon cover yesterday, now the engine bay needs more carbon https://scontent-a-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/1391980_541411289266852_640723889_n.jpg
  4. Switch it on and see what happens.
  5. Yeah I will be getting a different headlight on the left side as I will be adding a duct into it, I still have to have fully working lights (but not high beams) as the series I am looking into entering require it when it rains. - - - Updated - - - Will do
  6. Yeah mate that would be awesome cheers, sound like a plan Will have to take you out in the car on track as well not sure have you been in it yet? I am not sure if you have when Ryan had it.
  7. Cheers Yeah I think it will look good as well as being a bit more functional too
  8. Winter is coming up on us now - Cold days and even colder dark evenings... I have one more track day in November and then the car undergoes the winter overhaul. Some of the things I am planning over winter (Nov - Mar) Replace all upper arms with Ikeya formula components. One of the big changes will be a change of the front bumper and front splitter. The front bumper is looking rather pitted and cracked now as well as the F40 front splitter is looking like its had better days. So I am planning to redesign the front of the car a little, with a new bumper and splitter combo as I want to incorporate a larger mouth for the V-Mount setup. The new bumper and splitter will mainly the same as what Paul has on his track Supra which is the Ridox front bumper and the Ridox front splitter. This will all be tied into the flat floor design that I have already. I may look into getting the Ridox skirts as well but this will be for aesthetics only. As most of you also know the car is still Road legal however for the foreseeable future that aspect of the car is going into retirement. Driving the car on the UK roads is just too physically painful, not only that its extra wear and tear on expensive components which to be honest I don't want. I want to make the car quicker and more hardcore and simply it will not be road legal for this. If I ever come to sell the car then I will either revert it back to Road legal "trim" or leave it in Race trim.. it would be up to the new buyer although I cannot see that happening for a while yet Anyway I thought I would update you guys (well the ones that are interested) on the plans, I will aim to keep you updated on the progress as well.
  9. Cant wait to meet you out on track next year Paul... I am not taking no for an answer!! You too Chris..
  10. You will get better feel/feedback over the UK brakes (which I found to be very numb) just by installing a BBK. I don't run any ABS...I don't even have a brake servo, which means I get very good feel/feedback from the brakes, although my right leg does get a big workout when on track I wouldn't disable your ABS unless you feel its actually hampering your ability to go quick, from memory the ABS on the Supra is fairly sensitive. That said a lot of racing cars run ABS systems which are designed for racing but those cost ££,£££'s Don't forget that your tyres also play a large part if not the biggest part in your ability to scrub off speed, the more grip you have the more energy your brakes can absorb, which by then installing a BBK with racing pads will be used more efficiently and effectively. I find the front and rear kit I have on my track car (KSport) is pretty dam good for the price I paid for them, that said when they need overhauling (and they will probably soon) I will be going to a full AP racing BBK setup as they have more available parts. If you are planning to run a BBK on the front and keep the rears stock then your brake bias may change. It may be worth looking into that. No good if your front brakes and tyres are doing all the work and your rears are doing nothing and even worse if your rears end up doing more than the fronts (Spinny spinny).
  11. Sorry for the lack of updates guys, been really busy with family and having to dedicate some time and money to some other needed things. Will be back on track hopefully in November and more updates will start filtering through again soon. Again sorry guys..
  12. Not really not unless you are running silly power, even then a good ECU (Syvecs) and a good Map you wont need it.
  13. Cusco brake master cylinder stopper. Or you can get a Carbing Strut brace with it on. On my last Supra I had the Carbing brace with stopper but I felt it didn't make a huge difference.
  14. 1. If you are going to use it for track use get a hardtop and think about getting a welded cage. There really is no point (as nice as they are) using an Aerotop on track. 2. 18" wheels is generally the max you want to run without ruining handling I run 18" (cant remember the offsets). 3. UK's spec brakes with braided hoses, descent pads and fluid are good for the Majority of fast road/track use, if you want a better pedal feel then get a BBK kit these will also be lighter than the stock UK spec kit (loosing unsprung weight is a big deal when it comes to setting a car up) they probably wont increase your braking power (as large part of braking depends on what tyres you will be using) but if you want repeat performance without any chance of them fading (even though the UK's are still pretty dam good) then its a worth while investment. 4. A Number of things that can be done it depends on how much you want to spend. So First stop is set a budget for this bit as the prices can skyrocket (Hundreds to many thousands of pounds) due to the number of things you can do. Once you have set one come back and ask what can be done with the budget you have would be my best advice. I would also factor in cooling mods for Oil, PAS and Engine Coolant.
  15. Nope, not finished yet, probably never will be (although my wife wishes I would finish) Been 2 years on the track car and it was 6 1/2 years on the other one.
  16. If there is a Car Trailer free then I will hope to get there (as I now have a 4x4) Wont know until Saturday though - hopefully there will still be places and of course a trailer lol
  17. I have RPS Lightened flywheel and the RPS Street Max Clutch on mine, its a little noisy and a bit heavy but the clutch is pretty linear on release.
  18. I have been talking with Quaife about using their 69G, as it is not a priority it been on the back burner for a while. Even with a cheaper box (compared to the Tractive) like the 69G You are still talking 5 figures before the dot to do it though. I think If I do end up changing to a sequential box then it will be when I eventually enter UK Time Attack with a few sponsors under my belt. However if you have and are happy spending upwards of £10k then go for it - you will need to let me have a go though hehe.
  19. Guten Tag I am sure someone will come along which will know
  20. I have them mounted on the wiper arm on my track car... works really well.. looks nice and neat too http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/rally-accessories/storm-wash-wipe-system-wiper-arm-mounted-washer-jets
