  1. Cheers Chris received Excellent, looking forward to it.
  2. Yeah I agree, ones that are on fire
  3. Hopefully... Although I am waiting for... Nah bruv you need to stance it, put some spinners on it yeah...
  4. Makes me wonder if ploughing what basically is the cost of buying another low mileage properly done UK singled manual supra into my track car is worth it after these sorts of threads.
  5. I am feeling so sad because of this thread Can you not buy a Saxo and do it to that... please not a descent car.
  6. Oh it would work for sure... maybe just a little overkill - - - Updated - - - If you are only looking at a small amount of Data then 300GB SAS drives are pretty well priced at the moment. You will also need to look at installing a SAS controller as I doubt your MB will support SAS. Drive about £120 and controllers can be anything from, £80 to getting on for a grand, for your use though the entry level cards (around £80-140) should be ok.
  7. Ha yeah I suppose for a single home office it should be ok Sorry, I got lost in the moment there, it wouldn't have been long until I would be saying nah you need a 7450c all flash 3PAR array
  8. Raid 5 performs very poorly and all performance goes out of the window when rebuilding the array after an inevitable SATA disk failure.
  9. I wouldn't and dont use SATA drives in any business application unless it was archive only and running at least Raid 5. SATA drives are just too unreliable in general, yes they are cheap but thats because they are essentially crap. Don't be fooled by NL SAS, its a SATA drive with a SAS connector and a SAS algorithm, still poor on performance and reliability but better than normal SATA. Full blown SAS drives are more expensive for a reason...better performing and much much much better reliability. If you dont want hassle choose SAS drives.
  10. Hi There, I am in need of some artwork doing for my business and wanted to know if anyone can help me on here? If so can you drop me a PM, Ideally it would be good to see anything you have done previously. Thank you
  11. I have heard people using a slice of bread instead of grease. Stuff the bread into the bearing hole, tap it in using a hammer and a rod, once compressed add more bread until it starts to push the bearing out.
  12. I dont think it will make a big enough improvement to my car, not to mention it will be right hassle for repairs. I brought it up as I was reading one of the posts on the Time attack blog where they mentioned it and it got me thinking. http://www.timeattack.co.uk/chassis-stiffening-basics/#sthash.jw24o7tN.dpbs
  13. Has anyone had any experience with it or has done it on the Supra? I have read a few reviews and it seems to be a good basic way in increasing chassis stiffness without adding too much weight, I guess my question is will it improve a car which already has a seam welded chassis and a welded roll cage? I'm guessing it will to some extent, but will it be worth the extra (be it small) amount of weight? http://autofoam.net/autofoam/autofoam-application/ Keeping the chassis as stiff as possible is a must on the track, therefore while my car is already pretty stiff, I am considering it.
  14. Not really my thing but some impressive workmanship has gone into that Nice one!
  15. Ha cheers Chris, they did come through, not sure why it failed your end, thanks for posting them here though. For those who are interested here are some pics of the my new OS Giken TR-2CD clutch Chris is now working on the Concentric release setup (this needs to be done properly) and will probably end up going for a Tilton unit, which is good as there are plenty of spares for these as well. Chris I am guessing its going to be the 4000 series?? As there is nothing useful to mount the release bearing onto, a custom plate is being made up which will bolt to the gearbox bell adapter plate. Chris will be updating me with pictures as he does the work so will update here with the progress. I have also decided to move the Paddleshifter air pump and air tank to the boot as this will end up being closer to the valve body (less distance the better) it will also be much much cooler.
  16. Its worthless so you may as well hang onto it Now go look in the mirror and slap yourself silly.
  17. Well the first event is looking less and less likely as time goes on due to delays etc. That said, if things go well and testing goes well etc then the 25th April might be good but I am not counting on it TBH So probably aim to be the next one on the calender 31st May. I have asked TA and I can miss one event without it effecting the championship, not that my position in the championship will matter too much, I probably would be last anyway
  18. Just had word from Chris my OS Giken Clutch has now landed in his hands. There was a fairly length delay due to a system stocking error on Gikens part, but they managed to get it air shipped over in the nick of time (cheers Chris) Should be able to get the concentric release bearing setup done now, so will leave that in CW's more than capable hands. Thanks again Chris for the whipping the ass off Giken
  19. Dear god no... he is as annoying as an itchy foot.
  20. On V engines you have two cylinder heads, two cams per head = Quad cam
