  3. Is anyone getting a Http 403 error when they click on the link - Now sorted
  4. Hi all just to let you know i have permission to post this from Tdr As some of you may know i was made redundant 5 months ago and still having trouble finding my line of work, so i have decided to go it alone as it were (well with my gf). So we have set up a business to do with the clubbing arena (being avid clubbers ourselves) Selling DJ equipment, lighting, sound equipment, fireworks, etc. Now the main site is not up and running as yet (as we are still filling the shopping cart full of products) but we do have a forum, and wondered if anyone who is intrested in clubbing then to just have a look and perhaps join up as its free. If you want to have alook go to... http://www.club-heaven.co.uk/forum.html Thanks peeps
  5. Now i know you lot are going to say best get a seperate company to do this, but is there any Turbo recon kits availble for the standard J-spec turbos, but have steel blades instead of ceramic ones. I am mechanicly minded (done alot of mechanics in the past) and feel that if there is a kit to give it a try on a spare i have and see how difficult it is. Obviously if there is a kit and i can do it i will post a very detailed "How to" for anyone willing to try it themselves.
  6. This country is heading for a big crash. Now not only do we have speed camera's everywhere we now will be monitored everytime we drive..... thats an invasion of human rights !!! This system will probably upgraded one day to become a nationwide speed camera so they can get millions in fines. Its not enough that we spend an obscean amount of money on Road tax and Petrol Tax (which i think is like 70% or something) then have to pay national insurance to, yeah i understand that all the hosiptals and emergancy services need this money but..... not the police, this system would probably cost Billions of taxpayers money only for them to probably cheat us out of more money in the long run. I know i am going off in a rant here but i did a little look at how much tax we actualy pay in 1 month based on a month of spending my whole salary for that month. After i worked it out i paid around 75% of my salary in TAX !! (Including Genral PAYE Tax and National Insurance), What the hell is this country doing !!!!! and now they are going to spend it on another "flop" like the millenium dome !!!! What a bunch of Twats Rant over
  7. I think you should keep it. When i get the chance, mine is going in for a full strip (right down to the chassis) full paint removal (right down to the metal) any repair's rust or anything is going to be removed and if need be replaced, all the metal parts such as the subframe and wishbones etc are going to be sand blasted and repainted in high impact paint, the engine will go in for a full rebuild and have twin upgraded Turbos, stroker kit, high lift cams, etc basicly good for 600-700bhp, and then all put back together, it wont be a new car but it will be almost new.. just think when that is done it would cost the same as a new TT anyway .. but you dont loose the "relationship" with the car lol. Perhaps im just blabbering
  8. Ok time of the year to sort out the TT's engine bay. Lots of standard metal that needs polishing to make a nice shiny appearance. Now i have used brasso which has helped a little bit but i am after somehting alot better perhaps a compound instaed of a liquid type metal polish. Any suggestions ??
  9. Its strange. I went on the quick quote system they had about a week ago and they had supra tt on there and it returned a quote for me of £661.00 FC and im 22 with 3 years ncb Now i go on there and there are no supra's listed at all ???? Strange and i was going to switch over soon. Oh well they may have lost a customer
  10. woops sorry (typo) yes it is a pioneer - details amended
  11. if its a massive vibration you best get it checked.
  12. This is intresting, What kind of sound was it ? Cos i have a strange sound that "sounds" like a wheel bearing, did you get a little vibration to say going 20+ ?
  13. I still dont understand this, why does this or any car not handle well on larger wheels, surely its got to do with main suspension set up and shocks etc.
  14. Dont you think england is getting more and more like america with the way we speak lol Im not saying its bad at all cos its nice to have the enthusiasm that the americans have about their cars....but... I had a conversation the other day where a guy came upto me and started talking about my car this is what he said. Nice ride, what size are those rims? i see you have hooked yourself up with falkan rubber ....nice... bet that cost a few dough though... whats under the hood ? you got nos ?? Just thought it was funny as it sounded like pimp my ride
  15. may of been me cos i live in b'stoke but i wasnt in today which makes my message pointless......
  16. Whats it like in the wet on a cold day, i find mine a bit twitchy at the mo.
  17. I currently have Uk spec brakes on my J-spec. Tyre's will be another option that i will be looking at - i want an all round tyre that provides good traction in the wet as well as the dry. I have a standard LSD on my supra is that no good then ?
  18. I am looking to make my Supra TT handle a bit better then what it currently is at the moment, i have an idea on what i would like but i am not sure on what the best manufacture is with regards to the Supra. I wonder if the "ones that know" could point me in the right direction, i have listed the parts below and want to know if the manufacture would be any good for the car. Suspension - TIEN with EDFC Anti Roll Bars Front and back - OMP Strut Brace Front - OMP Poly Suspension Bushes - ??? Traction control - Racelogic with digital adjuster If there is anything else you recommend then please say :-) My Budget on this is around £4,000
