  7. Now i know you can get these for other cars but i have never seen a soop with these installed. I think they are a good idea cos the weight of the bonnet on 1 arm when its up makes the whole thing kinda twist a bit...i have always been wary of that anyone have bonnet lifters installed or know where i can get some ? P.s its not chavy is it ??

Looking to get my car serviced as close to me as possible. Does anyone reccomend these guys?
  13. yeah gearstick is cool very short shift, I used to be on the civic type r forum, just one thing some people blew their engines up when shifting down from 5th to 4th but actually they shifted into 2nd which is not good its suprisingly easy to do cos of the short shift, just something to bear in mind.
  14. I used to have one before my supra. They are nice cars plenty of boot space fairly quick, the vtec is fun, they nice to drive around and quite comfy. Handling is not to bad. The only gripe I had with it that after a year of owning one revving the engine to 5k rpm to getto the powerband got a bit tiresome but hey it sounded nice. The car never gave me any problems at all fuel eco is not to bad I used to get 350 miles to a tank and that was driving it like it should be driven.... when you replace the tyers don't use anything but the brigestone potenzas or use something with the same spec tyer wall otherwise they are abit sloppy around bends and at high speeds they get unstable. service prices are pretty good. all in all they are nice cars. well I liked it anyway and they have great modding potential I.e superchargers etc. I only went for my supra cos I got fed up with the type r power band being near 5k to 8300krpm. hope that helps.
  15. Keep the supra, 350z are nice but it isnt a supra.
  16. I have my tax rebate through !!!! This means i can get my Soop repaired and get some bits for her to Wooo hoooooo !!!
  17. Wow that actualy made sense to me, what oil is reccomended for the Supra J-spec TT ??
  18. Welcome to the forum matey It sounds like you are going what they call BPU I wouldn’t worry about getting a boost controller just double decat the exhaust and get a restrictor ring from Chris Wilson. The Standard J-spec tubbies will only handle a maximum of 1.2bar (and that’s pushing it a bit) in order to go fully BPU you will need to upgrade your fuel pump to a Walbro, get colder spark plugs, boost gauge, you already have a Fuel cut defender, so all you would need then is a 1, 1.1or 1.2bar restrictor ring. 1.1bar is ok you will get a noticeable amount of power gain from that, I will be running 1.2bar and hope that the tubs will handle it (if not I will upgrade to a single )
  19. Fuel consumption is about the same (I get around 14mpg – 20mpg) Stick with the TT as when you get older it can be modified easier (Do a search on “Going BPU”) It depends what you want from it as well Evo 6 are nice cars but I don’t think they have the Awww factor about them. Aero tops are a nice novelty but when I test drove one they seemed a bit "flexible" to me without the roof on. If you have £8k then you will be able to get a descent TT, then you have an option of going manual or automatic both are very good but again depends on what you want or prefer
  20. What will the SMIC go upto as regards pressure. I am going BPU will this take the 1.2bar i want to boost?
  21. Unfortuantly not mate I ahve heard good things about the Claybar though apparantly good for scratches etc:eyebrows:
  22. You can get this stuff in halfrauds
