Where do can i get one of these from??

There is a autobox fluid temp sensor (ATF Temp Connector) that is attached to the gearbox, its plug number A5 (and the plug is Grey). According to the A340E Auto Gearbox manual, this sensor is resistance based (lowers a voltage rather than produces a pulse voltage like a speed sensor), and having the wrong reading for a period of time (it says 15 mins) will cause a fault code... well according to the manual anyway. I was not sure if anything needs to be done with regards to stop this error code...

Does nothing need to be done with the Fluid Temp Sensor?

Thanks for the reply and the link… i have seen that “how to” before and it’s very informative However i really want to keep the Auto ECU in place so just need to know what i need to do in order to fool the Auto ECU that’s all....as i cant find this detail anywhere but i know on many occasions it has been done. I know something has to be done with the lever position sensor connecter (bridging wires 8 to 0?? To fool the ECU to think it’s in N Or something). I would imagine something needs to be done with the Auto transmission fluid temp sensor as this will throw a error if the wrong resistance is measured for too long (15 mins i think) - I think this is a case of putting a resistor of the right resistance between the connections to simulate a normal temp sensor voltage. Can anyone help on the above and indeed anything else that may need doing ... please help

Hi all, i am converting to manaul myself but using the Stock Auto ECU (which can be done) but i just need to know how to fool the ECU (i understand you have to bridge some connections on the connector plugs etc) so it does not throw any error codes?? can anyone help me. Thanks.

I know nothing of this company but... When did you order it? Their Terms and Conditions say " Please allow 1-7 working days for dispatch of your order." And where it details the shipping methods under the "Parcelforce 24hr" section it states "Delivery is normally the next working day but please allow up to 10 FULL working days before contacting me" If its in those time frames then i would not worry, if you manage to get hold of them then thats all they are going to say to you.. You may have to wait up to 17 working days if they stick to their terms

Does this gearbox have two VSS sensors like the auto box?

Do you have a J-spec version?

How much should i be paying for a manual ecu? and does anyone have one that i may be able to buy? I have a J-Spec not sure if that makes any difference.

If he is 4 its probably best not o get him something as small as a rat or hamster as kids tend to squeeze anything thats small and these types of pets move quickly. How a about a Guinea Pig or a rabbit, very freindly slow and soft - although dont get both in a cage together as the rabbit (if its male) may think its another rabbit and try to hump it, then you will need to take the Guinea pig to counciling.... Just a quick question, just need to know what connection plugs are the same on the auto gearbox and the manaul gearbox? i think its the VSS sensor plug but not sure of the other one.
