  2. Lol Cheers guys. The magazine is out now, it is in some stores but I wouldnt say its a massive seller and the article isnt a review of the car, just a picture really with a little bit of info, so I wouldnt waste your money buying one espeically to see the car and expecting to see a review on it, Unless you want to buy it for the other stuff too (its actually a damn good magazine if you are into racing etc). Still its nice that its made it into a proper purebread racing magazine. pedrosixfour - watch this space
  3. My Prius sounds better than that! Only kidding... I have a real mess in my pants right now.
  4. I would but the thing is it has to be in keeping with the exisiting structure.. so there lies an issue
  5. The Car made it into Race Tech Magazine for their Autosport Review... Nice!! Still flying the flag for the Supra https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpt1/v/t1.0-9/12654594_1684617135151412_6120759086907000865_n.jpg?oh=fcb9d974e95fdcd7b9528ff7d80e0f73&oe=57284266
  6. Hi all, I am looking to get a small office extention to my workshop. The spec only needs to be 4 meters long by 3 meters wide and 2.5 meters high it has to be insulated wood frame construction concrete base and a flat roof (cold roof). I can do the concrete base and groundworks needed so really looking at someone who can do the roof and frame. What sort of price should I be looking at for this? Rich.
  7. this is based on a tyre with a rolling circumfrance of 2052mm (245/40R18) and a rev limit of 6800rpm If you used the M3 Gearbox with a 3.280 FDR This is what you would get Top Speed in 1 gear = 37.495 MPH changes into 2 gear at 4067 RPM dropping 2733 RPM Top Speed in 2 gear = 62.689 MPH changes into 3 gear at 4489 RPM dropping 2311 RPM Top Speed in 3 gear = 94.973 MPH changes into 4 gear at 5008 RPM dropping 1792 RPM Top Speed in 4 gear = 128.947 MPH changes into 5 gear at 5528 RPM dropping 1272 RPM Top Speed in 5 gear = 158.604 MPH changes into 6 gear at 5644 RPM dropping 1156 RPM Top Speed in 6 gear = 191.089 MPH If you used the M3 Gearbox with a 3.266 FDR Top Speed in 1 gear = 37.656 MPH changes into 2 gear at 4067 RPM dropping 2733 RPM Top Speed in 2 gear = 62.958 MPH changes into 3 gear at 4489 RPM dropping 2311 RPM Top Speed in 3 gear = 95.380 MPH changes into 4 gear at 5008 RPM dropping 1792 RPM Top Speed in 4 gear = 129.499 MPH changes into 5 gear at 5528 RPM dropping 1272 RPM Top Speed in 5 gear = 159.284 MPH changes into 6 gear at 5644 RPM dropping 1156 RPM Top Speed in 6 gear = 191.909 MPH If you used the 330/530d Gearbox with a 3.280 FDR Top Speed in 1 gear = 30.268 MPH changes into 2 gear at 3789 RPM dropping 3011 RPM Top Speed in 2 gear = 54.317 MPH changes into 3 gear at 4238 RPM dropping 2562 RPM Top Speed in 3 gear = 87.145 MPH changes into 4 gear at 4745 RPM dropping 2055 RPM Top Speed in 4 gear = 124.885 MPH changes into 5 gear at 5354 RPM dropping 1446 RPM Top Speed in 5 gear = 158.604 MPH If you used the 330/530d Gearbox with a 3.226 FDR Top Speed in 1 gear = 30.775 MPH changes into 2 gear at 3789 RPM dropping 3011 RPM Top Speed in 2 gear = 55.226 MPH changes into 3 gear at 4238 RPM dropping 2562 RPM Top Speed in 3 gear = 88.604 MPH changes into 4 gear at 4745 RPM dropping 2055 RPM Top Speed in 4 gear = 126.976 MPH changes into 5 gear at 5354 RPM dropping 1446 RPM Top Speed in 5 gear = 161.259 MPH
  8. Keep in mind the rev drops as well..
  9. What a wonderful transformation, thanks for sharing that. I really enjoyed going through those.
  10. Ah ok, understood for some reason the last time we talked about it I got the impression you wouldnt accept it back as it would have been used/fitted etc. Ill drum up some cash then.

    Lego

I had Lego, but I liked Meccano more
  12. Audi S4, the new Type R is simply disgusting.
  13. I like it, I only got it cos i wanted to fight x wing and interceptor... which I must admit is simply awesome! When VR gets released cockpit mode will be simply stunning!! The ground assault stuff is pretty awesome as well, I like the fact you can be the Walkers (in Walker Assualt) if you get the power up or one of the smaller walkers (cant remember what its called) be it a little repetative but there is more DLC coming out... they are also doing the Death Star soon that will be awesome. Its got a lot of flack becuase there isnt "much" but the graphics make it so immersive and detailed I am happy to get the DLC's if they are going to be the same quality.
  14. Would love to partner up with some fellow Supra buddies online... My online name is the same as here..
  15. Hi There Nice introduction, thats rare these days I have never owned a NA but I have been on here long enough to know its not a quick car, so if you just want a Supra for pleasure of driving and not getting your face ripped off then a NA is for you, for sure. Yep prices for stock examples are on the up, £5k for a NA will bag you a good one, I personally would only ever purchase a car off the forum, like you said these cars are getting old now and to purchase one despite showing history etc may still bag you a bad one. At least if you find a member on here you will find out loads about the car, how its been treated and what the owner is like. Usually the good cars stay within the forum... and there is a reason for it. Cost wise, will very much depend on your age. Insurance is a killer for the younger folk, you said you have a missus and that you go on holiday etc, therefore I would imagine you are not a nipper with dreams Fuel prices, the NA is still a thirsty car, the actual figures escape me now, but imagine a 20 year old 3ltr engine vs todays... its not going to be "that" economical. If the car has been looked after, you should not see any heavy repair bills, just general servicing, all of which you can do if you wanted to if you are a good with a spanner, but stay on top of it. If not then a general garage can take care of these beasts you dont need a "supra" specialist to be totally honest, just a garage that listens to what you want doing. That said taking it to a specialist isnt an issue, I think SRD will be your closest one. Im sure someone will be along to correct me if I am wrong. I used to commute my Auto TT from the New Forest to Theale everyday, if you can afford it do it.. but I did that 7 years ago and it still cost me £650 a month in fuel, dread to think what it could be now if the prices go back up. I hope thats helpful.
  16. Could you do me a massive favor when you get some pictures when the engine is back in? Could you get some pictures showing the distance between the car bodywork and the turbo. I can then kind of guess if its worth me punting up the money to buy a new manifold to test fit, even though it may not clear the bodywork on mine and therefore be useless to me. I have heard great things about these manifolds and I want to get one mainly to increase response but also get rid of the last of the "cheaper" parts on the car that could cause issues down the line, I have a nasty modified xspower one on there at the moment which flows as well as a kinked garden hose, I'm not going to shell out £1300+ on something that wont fit only to sell it to a member later for less, it does not make sense. I spoke to Paul a few months ago about the possibility of having a test fitting but he is unwilling to allow me to test fit (even with a deposit) which I struggle to understand but then I suppose he thinks I may run off with it. So if you can get some pics that would be great.. thanks
  17. Do you have any more info on their new app??
  18. Im having no issues with Genesis. I am on BT and I watched the reverant the other day, awesome film... I am running a VPN though.
  19. I would love one of these manifolds, such a shame I cannot find out if it will fit before I buy it
  20. They are very good, I have these on the track car for shows.
  21. Cheers dude, was good to catch up, you got to get that car of yours out we both need to hit the track. Yeah the car has come a long way since Ryan had it, it was nice to show it off (although still only 98% complete lol) it had a lot of interest though which was good. Was nice to see Ryan.G too.. Poor guy kept saying he misses it but is really amazed on how far its come and how it looks. Was also happy that Toyota GB put the car on their blog although they got the fact that it only runs a single turbo wrong - http://blog.toyota.co.uk/toyota-2016-autosport-international-show
