Fair play mate, when i joined i found this the most freindly club i have ever been joined. There are some characters on here dude you just need to know how to take them, not that we would expect you to know straight away as you have not been here that long. Do a compression and leakdown test this will tell you how good condition your piston rings are valve seats are in. If all is good there then it would be serviceable items that would need to be looked at, such as filters, fuel pumps, injectors, spark plugs basicly common wear engine parts really and electricals. Hope this helps mate.

Hi All, My wife is after some wheel nuts that will fit for her 1993 Jspec turbo MR2, She has bought some Kei Racing wheels. http://www.kei-wheels.co.uk/p1034004.htm She has the right locking wheel nuts already but the standard nuts (off the stock wheels) dont fit the new wheels. Just wondered if you know anyone that can supply these i have PM'd Ibrar but no reply as yet and its getting kinda desperate.

I hear about this "book price" all the time but surely who is the one that writes the values in it?? I mean how does it work?? Is the depreciation worked out by the manufacture? or market climate specific mathematical workings etc? or is it just the "a entities opinion" on what the car is worth. I would really like to know "who" writes the figures in this "book" cos it screws everyone on insurance payouts , trade in's etc....

Yeah have already tried to get the footage only to be told only the police can ask for it - which is pointless. By now it would probably been recorded over so i probably have nothing to go on now anyway

Exactly mate! I may ask for the money i have paid in council tax to the police to be refunded as they dont seem to benefit me in anyway. I know it wont happen but at least i would feel a bit better.

Well i have had a letter from the police saying that my "incident" has not met the criteria for them to investigate and so there will be no attempt to recover the CCTV footage from the car park and that the matter is now closed I am not happy, some delinquent fool out there has got away with damaging my property and made me hundreds of pounds out pocket because of it and will now get away with it... I am a law abiding person i pay my council tax, i pay my road tax, i pay my insurance and have a full clean driving licence, why does it seem that police try and protect the criminals in this country.... ok I know it’s not “serious” incident but I have still been the victim of a crime and the police just say “nah we can’t be bothered” I mean WHAT !! there is evidence right there !!! I mean that’s just awful I mean what a dump this country has turned into where police can see evidence staring at them in the face and then say “nah” I should of said that there is evidence that the person broke the speed limit after hitting my car then perhaps they would have been bothered to try and find out who it was.
