  1. Tall trees is good but its a bit of a walk from the town centre
  2. Got to work this morning to see another Silver supra in the car park?? We have had alot of new starters recently and Just wondered if its anyones on here? If so make yourself known I sit 2nd table up on left hand side as you come into the office.
  3. no not really, not that i could see anyway.
  4. No i didnt need to heat the screws the passanger side ones seemed to come out quite easy the drivers side the screw head just rounded off cos it was rusty so i cut back the rubber got some pliers and twisted the screw head until they were out.... perhaps i was lucky.
  5. Replaced my boot rubbers today one was a bit stubborn to come out but a stanley knife, a pair of pliers and a bit of careful prising with a screwdriver soon fixed that. I really recommend that you do this if you have a rattle coming from the back of the car, now there are no rattles at all in my car and its feels ... newer One of the best £30 i have spent i reckon.
  6. I still think handling of a car is down to 80% of the drivers ability.... to drive. The fact is knowing where the limit is and how you deal with it when you overstep the limit, Electronics and cleaver diffs make it easier for you but you still need skill to push it and keep it on the back stuff. Put it this way cleaver electonics, Diffs revised chassis etc is not going to stop you going too fast into a bend is it....
  7. I have a ford escort daily driver.... I am rearranging the Escort badge to read Scrote
  8. The handling will be better than the supra but then the chassis has new design new materials, new electronics etc etc, At the end of the day give both cars to a proper racing driver let him switch off traction control in both cars and then let’s see how well it handles compared to a Supra, it will probably still be better but not by much I reckon. Not only that a FWD car with 300bhp without some sort of control over the power (traction control or a cleaver electronic diff) won’t be enjoyable... I had a 2003 Civic Type R (197bhp) and found it irritating that 1st and 2nd gear were pretty much useless when it came to "faster" driving so much so i went a bought a Supra.... TBH I can’t see having a FWD 300bhp car tamed by electronics and cleaver diff's will be any different, your still either gonna be scrambling for grip and not getting very far on acceleration or be disappointed when the electronics holds back the power. New Ford's = Fail ........bring back the cosworth's (meat and pie engineering)
  9. I would not do that dude one of my brothers mates did this on his older BMW (put it over the throttle body inlet) and the tights got sucked into the engine! apparantly they were fastened tightly also. Ended up involving an engine strip down to take the burnt bits of tights out of the cyclinders and to untangle the tights from the valves etc.
  10. Ahh i saw this too late i want to return mine to stock kit..... better than any aftermarket Induction kit - less heat soak!
  11. lol he must be mad I thought all american drivers were this bad.... No offence to our american friends they do have snow alot worse then us and are probably more skilled when it comes to driving in the snow lol imagine this clip in the UK lol it would of been alot worse lol
  12. Thought i would post up here first as these are not actually for sale ... just yet Just wanted to see how much interest there is and how much people are willing to pay for them really (i will get pics up of them later on) so i have an idea of how much i can put towards a new set of seats For now a description will have to do They are coming off my M-Reg Supra TT, Full leather and Electrically adjustable (electric adjust only on driver’s seat) no tears, cuts or scuffing, these are not the facelift seats.
  13. Yeah was reading this earlier 1 died on the ground as well
  14. Just wondered if any are planning to go this year? Last year was great Would be good if we arranged a Convoy or something on the days that people are going...
  15. I thought sex under 16 was against the law..... dont see the police putting him in a young offenders institute !! What a world eh.... that baby when it grows up is going to be messed up big time...
  16. Brilliant Does that mean they have updated the OS on the PS3 so it can see more than 250gb on the internal drive?? If so thats great and i am off to get a 320gb drive to I cant remember is it 3.5" or 2.5" drives the PS3 use??
  17. Yeah i already have a runabout for my week driving to work. Thinking about it, i may be fed up cos i can't use the potential of it in the wet I will wait until the summer and see how i feel then... Cheers for the encouraging words....
  18. Not sure why i started to think this (as i said before my love for the supra will never go) but it seems that i am loosing a bit of the supra love i had before I just took my supra out and started to think of all the things that need to be done to make it 100% perfect again (as its 13 years old) and i started to think do i spend money getting it back to perfection (and bettering it) or do i spend the money i would use getting it back to perfection + the money i would sell it for + a bit more to buy a different car a different experiance?? I have had it for 4 years now and am thinking do i (Dare i say it) move on?? I have been thinking about a few cars recently, have been looking at a few (wide range) of cars such as the Skyline R33/34 GTR, Misti Evo 10, Noble M12 GTO 3r, VXR8, M3 (e46) all of which are lovely cars but...... ahhhhh i am not sure what to do
  19. I had something similar, When i was younger (2nd car) i had a mint metalic blue F Reg Ford Fiesta Xr2 no rust (even in the wheel arches and chassis underneath), no dents, no scratches the bumpers were still black and not faded, no water leaks interior was perfect condition no tear's or anything. I replaced the engine in my garage with a brand new engine which had been built up from scratch with a Port flowed Stage 3 head with Twin Weber 45 Carbs. I spent alot of money even on it as it was nearing "classic" status. I then was made redundant and needed to sell it It was snapped up really quickly and 3 weeks later the new owner called me up and said that he had wrapped it around a tree and that he was ok but the car is totaled.... my heart sank still does after all the hard work cleaning it, working on it etc. Such a shame...
  20. Mr T, is freinds with Mr O, Mr Y, and Mr A
  21. Yeah this will defo work. I was ill once at work with the flu and i asked anyone if they had some flu tablets etc, someone came back and said i only have the night time night nurse pills. As i have not taken them before i thought i would be a little bit sleepy maybe a little drowsy....... but after 20 mins i was really struggeling to focus on my screen and i couldn't really talk properly i was really slurred and it was really difficult to stay awake and keep my eyes open. So i decided to go to the coffee machine and drink 4 espresso's which helped a bit but for 4 hours i could not really do anything at all lol.
  22. yeah you get to keep the glasses I went to see this film on sat last week and i thought the 3D effect was very good but like everyone has said the plot was a little lame, put it this way i would not have enjoyed it at all if i saw it on 2D
