  1. Zero NCB as some fool bashed my rear qtr in whilst it was in a car park and drove off without leaving their details and the police wouldnt bother looking at the evidence on CCTV as it did not match their criteria..... Im not bitter about that... although if i found out who did it well........
  2. I think i may have a problem on the front two shocks, fitted these not long ago but i am concered that the front is a little too spongy even with the dampening force adjuster fully hard. The rear feels fine. I just wanted to compare the front with someone elses set?
  3. You can get an oil extractor pump if you dont fancy getting under the car. Its an ok method, it does not get all the old oil out like the drain plug but as long as you change the oil regulary with this system you should not run into problems. http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/pela-pro-14-000-14l-oil-fluid-extractor You put the tube into your dipstick hole and push it as far as you can down into the sump then pump the handle and then it sucks up the oil. Then unscrew the Oil filter clean the filter surround on the engine block, on the new filter rub some clean fresh oil into the rubber seal then replace, fill the car up with new fresh oil while you do this keep checking the dipstick as you fill up to get the right level. Top : When extracting the old oil Make sure the oil is hot before you do it otheriwse you will be waiting for hours.

  7. Yay had my MOT today the only advisorys were the little chip in the windshield. Been quite an expensive year though lol. Still the old girl is still worth it.
  8. Could be either valve stem seals or piston rings. I would get a compression test done on your pistons and perhaps a borescope inspection of the cylinders.
  9. I have an Jspec Auto would this be a good upgrade from the Jspec Alternator?? As these are apparantly lower than 90amp standard or from what i have read.
  10. Dont suppose anyone has a complete set do they? I know they are pretty rare..... Either that how much would i be looking to get fabrication company to do it?
  11. Nankang tyres are renound for being terrible, i think a couple of members on here have had some near misses with these. Depending on which tyres you choose (unknown vs branded & proven) could mean life or death. Please anyone reading this that have unknown brand cheap tyres please get rid of them as you may not be as lucky as this person... Tyres are the most important thing on your car above all other mods etc, remember its ultimately the only thing keeping you on the road, surely getting descent tyres is the best and first thing you should do over and above everything else.
