  1. Does it really matter what someone else thinks?? As long as you like it thats all that matters.
  2. Will get one of these for garage protection and track days Would anyone be intrested if i got in contact them and got a group buy arranged (agreed by mod first of course) ??
  3. We use these http://www.shockwatch.com/shipping_handling_monitors/impact_indicator/index.php Doh! too late
  4. I will have a 4 spoke one availible soon mate
  5. Wanted - Dashboard Do not mind if its tatty (scratched, missing panels etc etc) but must have mounting points intact - that is all.
  6. The Specific Intel part number is SSDSA2MH080G1HP (remove the HP bit at the end and its the same as the Intel drive) the HP part number for the drive is 486304-001 The Firmware revision on the drive that is opened is 8781. These are replacement SSD's for the HP Elitebook 6930p so the warranty on these drives is 90 days (i only got these last week so i guess thats eaten into the 90 days).
  7. Yes very much so, the performance difference is incredible. Thought i would give the computer guru's, on here a chance before i let these loose on Ebay.
  8. Hi All, I have two of these for sale £150 each + £5 for delivery - no need to worry about sending these as there are no moving parts and can withstand up to 1000g's apparantly, but they will be boxed with padding etc. I was going to upgrade my PC and Laptop but to be honest i really cant be botherd to reinstall everything. One has been opened (for the picture) otherwise these are brand new units. Here are the Specs. Capacity 80 GB Interface ATA-7 / SATA 2.6 Performance Maximum Sequential Read - 250 MB/s Maximum Sequential Write - 70 MB/s The performance of these drives are astounding, http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/Intel-x25-m-SSD,2012.html http://www.laptopmag.com/review/storage/intel-x25-m.aspx
  9. Im not a great fan of aftermarket rear wings, IMO there are not many that suite the supra..... if any at all (but thats my opinion) you see i dont really like the (dont linch me:)) "bolt on look" If had to change the rear wing, then it would be on the grounds of functionality only - say for a dedicated track or drag supra. Still once your car is all done i am sure it will look the part like you said at the moment it looks a bit out of place as you have not done the supporting mods on the body work. However i do agree with the others that you will need to have a more aggressive kit then the OEM Spats and Skirts in order for that wing to do its best in the looks department. Anyhow it looks like you have a nice supe there mate keep us posted on how it goes.
  10. Well a descent example would fetch about £6k - £10k or more depending on trim and if Auto or manual, UK or JSpec and level of mods. I personaly would buy a Stock Supra TT and then do what you want to it (thats if you want to) so you know its done right, there are alot of low quality parts out there for the supra, and would hate to see you buy one and it fail a couple of months down the line, if you do buy one with mods then just run the mods past the people on here and they will say whether to steer clear etc. My Wife has a MR2 Turbo and whilst it is a great car, very chuckable and really fun to drive, the supra is so so much better in all areas IMO and sounds better too, but then the supra is a bigger car and is a tad thirsty (ok pretty thirsty) on the spirited runs.

  19. I am pretty happy to say the least, but have only just got around to posting this on the forum, as some of you know I have had two previous 5 hour operations to remove something called cholestatoma from my left ear behind the ear drum (operation is called combined approach type 2 left stage 1,2,3 tympanoplasty) http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=154647&highlight=operation I went in to hospital last Monday to have my stage 3 operation (which also lasted 5 hours) and after waking up the next morning to be faced with the surgeon with a smile on his face saying "you won’t be needing anymore operations for your ear, we are happy to say that it had not come back and we have replaced two of your ear bones with prosthetic ones and we are confident that you will get at least 70% of your hearing back" Needless to say although still in a bit of pain at home (been signed off for two weeks) I am ecstatic about my hearing as I have always had only about 30% of hearing in my ear since this problem, I have to go back in to hospital on the 14th to get my ear pack taken out and have a hearing test, and I can’t wait.... now I can get back on track and get on with things MSA licence here I come
