Hello all I wonder if anyone can help me really I got a 2006 Focus MK2 1.8TDCI as my second car which i use for work. Coming back from a few days away with my wife, got within 1 mile of home and got an error message saying "engine system failure" the battery light came on and the ABS light was flashing, as we got closer to home the lights were dimming and the instrument cluster was switching on and off, then as we got onto the parking area the engine switched off. It sounds to me as if the alternator has had it, as if you kept the revs high the problem went away (engine warning lights went away, lights came back on etc) i tried starting it again but i am getting the dreaded starting clicks How much am i looking at to get an alternator replaced do you reckon?

Top gear failed last night..... First time in a long time, it was like watching a bad episode of 5th gear!! There was not anything I enjoyed about it... reviewing some pointless sports 4x4's, a crap little french car, and a stupid race with airport vehicles. FAIL

I cant stand this guy makes me want to jab myself with a blunt fork.

I think chrome wraps are horrible, makes an expensive car look cheap.

I seem to have a wet passenger seatbelt but nothing else is wet (such as the floor, carpet and the seat etc) the weather has been pretty bad but water should not be coming into the car. I have read a few of the posts on here about similar problems, but there have been no updates on fixes. I have checked the seals and they seem to be ok, no cracks or wear which is making me think it must be the little side Qtr window, if it is that does it mean the stuff they use to bond the window to the car has failed? The thing is it is pouring with rain right now and i am not sure how long the car has been in this state, so now i am worried about the dreaded rust setting in.... Would it be better to take my car to a bodyshop and see if they can take the window out and rebond it?

Make sure its a proper fully welded in roll cage like the one in that BMW. Lots of the off the shelf roll cages are bolt in and are mainly for asthetics and dont offer any real protection in a situaiton like that, they just more metal to mash you up with.

Taken off my car and kept in the garage, i am not sure how old they are (I am not sure but i dont think Jspec ones had this as an option so not on the car since new) so dont know how many miles they have done, but they are not in what i would call astheticly good condition (dirty and surface rust behind the yellow paint. I cannot see any signs of leaking on the seals and the struts dont look worn, it will need replacement bump stops on the shocks. There were no knocks or anything when they were on the car. I do have a set of lowering springs but its the same story with them they are pretty rusted and cant tell who made them. If anyone wants them make me an offer - sensible offers though not like £1 or something - oh and dont try to be cleaver by saying £1.01 or similar lol

This is why i got a PS3, has not failed once and i use it everyday. Both Consoles are better in some aspects than others.

I have a full set of Bilsteins with springs but no top mounts will that do?

Will you be doing a TT version of that pipe (its slightly different as i am suer you know) - I need one to complete the look.
