Sorry to hear this dude not good. I remember when i took my car to my mother in laws for safe keeping when i went on holiday to thailand as there was a spate of cars being nicked/vandalised in my area (thank god they caught them in the end little chavs). Went away for two weeks thinking my car would be safe... Only to come back to pick my car up with my mother in law in tears saying that she has reversed into my supra on the day we left and damaged the wing:( she had got it repaired while i was away (new wing etc) which was nice but still... So i feel your pain dude, try not to be to harsh on her, when my mother in law told me my face said it all (not happy), but i still gave her a hug and said dont worry its only a car although inside i was like WHAT THE F*** !!

I would do a compression test, i would also reccomemend a borescope inspection done of the cylinders.

I think it looks the part without some aftermarket bodykit slapped on it IMO Some do look good with aftermarket kits/paint/wheels/spolers etc but to be honest after reviewing and considering them all a few years ago i Stayed with the wheels i have and the stock bodykit look, i would much rather spend £5k on making the car handle and peform better (which i am doing)

It must be a area thing. I have never had a bad word said to my face about my supra, a couple of recent experiences, Was in Shell a couple of weeks ago filling up the car and a load of youngsters (probably early-mid teens) came out of the shop, they came over and started saying to each other this is the car that was in Need for Speed, they came up to me and started asking questions about it (does it have a turbo and is it fast etc) after a brief chat they went off and shouted "nice car bye". Also when I was putting my hard pipe kit for my SMIC my neighbour that lives opposite me came up to me and said "you really look after this car don’t you" then she started to chat about it for a bit saying its still one of the nicest looking older cars and that you don’t see many of them etc etc, then her husband came out (who owns a white turbo MR2) and then we proceeded to talk about each others car for a bit, he was saying how he likes the Supra but cant buy one as I have one and it would not be fair on me lol. Sounds like the Lowest life form you spoke to was suffering from a bit of envy. "Awwwww did you not like the fact someone had a better car than you and that your car is a little tin box full of french poo, Awwww"

for sale Front end damaged 560bhp VVTI Supra
ManwithSupra replied to MarkR's topic in Supra Classifieds
Do this mate. Really sorry to hear this has happened. If the car was damaged when under their care, then it’s their responsibility to get it back to you the same condition as it went in period. -
I am intrested in the Black front skirt lip, does this come with the brackets as well.

Yes you need confidence but you also need driving ability which these people clearly dont have.... Oh and his sum up at the end of the video, saying he would take the Focus over the GTR on that road, he didnt even drive the GTR on that road so how would he know?

God of war 1 and 2 are one of most brutal non stop action and adventure games i have ever played on the PS2 they really pushed the graphics boundries for the PS2 and there is a 3rd one due out this year (march/april i belive) on the PS3. Here is the trailer for the 3rd one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IpN9SGQmjA And in game footage of the demo that is out at the moment (spoiler if you haven't played it already) I have played the demo as i was sent a code when the demo was released and i can say that the gameplay is as good as the orginal two and the graphics are outstanding, appprantly the details in the Demo are very basic and the actual game is to feature more on screen action etc, also apparantly this game will be compatible when the 3D firmware has been released on the PS3 (coming out sometime this year) although you will need a 200hz screen and some glasses to play the games in 3D.

Get a deisel one.... good prices, encomonical and not to slow. I have a Focus II 2005 1.8Tdci for my daily driver and usually get about 60mpg. For a Oil burner its pretty nippy so can have a little bit of fun (quite fun in 2nd and 3rd), they handle quite well and comofortable, big boot, nice interior etc. Mine was £5.5k with a warranty and 65k miles on the clock so you should be able to get a really good low mileage example of the model before for about £2k In terms of things you should look out for.. I have heard that the wheel bearings can be an issue, If you get one coming up to 70k miles then probably at least one of them will be on the way out, so give the wheels a good shake and check for knocking.

There are a number of threads on here about Michael McIntyre, seems alot of people dont like him (me included) and lots do. So thought i would do a poll on who you prefer. I know there are many more to add to the list but could not remember their names. Please feel free to post your comments

I also agree McIntyre is rubbish, i saw him on telly probably aboiut 5 years ago doing the same jokes, not only that they all the same structure very boring. Also he is the only comidian that cant even prenounce his own name. Is McIntyre not MacIntyre Here is some decent clips from proper comedians that i thought were funny http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cD8OUqN8rWQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeflE4Zg8t8&feature=related The above links are NWS due to language

Has anyone got any CD decks i may be able to hire at all? Basicly i am providing the sound equipment and doing a Trance set at my mates wedding and traditionaly i only DJ using Vinyl so dont have any CD decks. However there a few songs that he wants which have not been released as yet on Vinyl so i need to use a couple of CD decks, and as i dont really want to shell out £2k on CDJ1000's etc (as i would have to buy them myself for my own use and would rather spend the money on the supra ) i wondered if anyone had some basic CD decks i could hire from them. The reason why i dont really want to use a hire company is that they insist that they come and set it all up for a set up fee, when i can / have been doing it for years. If anyone can help i would be most obliged

I will do what i can dude. Dont worry about the kiss lol

I just got an insurance quote for my first supra....
ManwithSupra replied to Sgtbash's topic in Insurance
I agree with Miko on the most part , Although i dont think people are trying to be patronizing (ok some may be ) I think what it is, is that we dont want to add another name to the unfortuante deaths we have had in recent years. As much as i belive you would be sensible with the supra (You sound sensible and switched on), We all have moments where we let the beast loose, and its these times where you need the experiance of driving a RWD or higher powered car. Perhaps when you get your Supe go on a handling day like this http://www.ridedrive.co.uk/do-hp-s03pm.htm then do a couple of track days so you at least kind of know how its going to react in different conditions, at least then once you have a spirited drive you at least know what the limits of the car are and have basic experiance in how to control any potential issues that may come along. Welcome anyway and get some pics up of the beast when you get it. -
O2 Customer Service has got worse and worse over the years (i have been a customer when they first renamed to O2) I am leaving them when my contract expires, when I phoned them last to find out when my contract is going to expire I had the most pretentious rude person I have honestly ever spoken to, which confirmed in my mind that I don’t want to be a customer of theirs.
