  1. Does anyone know of any track days for people that have the National B racing licence? I know Goodwood does General Test days for drivers who hold the licence but wanted to know if anyone knows if there are any National B only days.
  2. Woah !! its sunny here - i prefer sun I wish the sun had the same effect as the snow though.... Worker "Sorry i cant come intoday there is too much sun" Boss "Ah i see ok try and see if you can make it in tomorrow"
  3. Looks great, nice trimmed bush too
  4. I have bent my key look like its beyond repair...and I dont have the metal key stamp tag any longer:( well i cant find it. Is there anything i can do? Is the key stamp on the barrell somewhere? Also does anyone know how much a couple of new keys will be? I assume i will need to get these by my local Mr T.
  5. Looking to replace my exisiting wireless network with the new "N" standard. In my house my telephone line comes into my office, which where my current modem/router is and PC. My PS3 is in the living room which is mounted under my TV on the wall and its connected via wireless to my PC via Tversity. I have videos and music on my PC which i want to stream to my PS3, however the current 54G wireless network i have is just not man enough to handle HD video, now as you cannot upgrade the 54g card in the ps3 my plan is this... Have the Wireless "N" modem router in my office, have another "N" access point with an embedded switch in my living room with some sort of wireless extender feature, then use the switch port on this access point to connect to the network port on the PS3 which will be man enough to run HD (wireless N runs at 300Mbps in close proximity and the PS3 NIC port is 100baseT), Now i can find a product which sorts the office modem router bit but cant find a wireless extender or access point which would work in the way i would want it to? Can anyone help or know a product that would? The easier way would be to run a network cable... however i really dont like cables hanging about everywhere, the other solution is to use a Mains socket ethernet network enabler but these keep dropping packets all the time (ok for browsing the web but not much else) Any help will be great
  6. My attempt.... lol And no i didnt kill the fly..... google is your friend
  7. Hi All, Seems i have developed a knock from the rear of my car.... I only noticed it when i applied the handbrake a bit early whilst slowing down, once the handbrake started to slow the car i noticed a very audiable single Knock that came from the rear I decided to loose the handbrake and do it again and the same happend again.... any idea on what it could be? I have all new suspension, new suspension arm bushes, new ARB's and droplinks so not sure what it really could be??

  9. I have just done some statistics for my last years mileage to work to find out how long i drive for every year and its pretty scary.... This is not in the supra i may add...this is in my Ford Focus oil burner Total miles to work = 27,040 miles Total time driving = 32.5 Days (This result is based on 24hr Days.. Average driving is 3 hours a day x 5 days a week x 52 weeks a year then divided by 24 hours) Total cost in fuel = £2,691 (based on £1.15per liter). Using the Focus saves me £6,5k a year in fuel if i were to take my supra to work everyday lol. But spending 32 24hr days a year constantly driving.... Im sure others can beat this.... so how about it, how long do you drive for in a year..
  10. Hi all, got a strange sound when pulling away? My car is a 1995 Auto Jspec It seems to come from the rear its like a very light scrubbing/scraping sound (almost like tyre scrubbing on the arches but only alot quieter) and it only last for a couple of seconds when pulling away (its not the tyers by the way ) It seems to be engine speed related as when you rev between 1-2k you can hear it, but only when you are in drive and crawling along, has anyone had something like this, i am not sure what it could be.
  11. Jspec or UK? I assume Jspec from your Sig 2.5..... so MKIII turbos?
  12. Agree with you without a doubt the FT86 is a nice looking sports, The GTR is a bit of a Pig, but then it has major presence on the road (more agressive), i would most certianly have a GTR if i were to spend £60k on a new car.
  13. Comon guys do you expect anything else from some people who do this to their cars.... http://failads.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/japanese-cars-mod.jpg
  14. As long as the chocolate does not become like that powdery burnt tasting rubbish stuff in America, I really dont care who own's cadburys. How about this.... why dont we support the little manufactures of choc, one of the best i have ever tasted was from a small chocolate factory in wales, such an amasing taste so smooth and full of flavour, makes cadbury taste like a watered down version of chocolate.
  15. The FT86 with the bodykit the front wing vents looks similar to the Nissan GTR. http://z.about.com/d/cars/1/7/H/4/1/09_gtr_side.jpg
  16. Its nice to see toyota trying again. I was reading somewhere (honestly can't remember i think it was performace car magazine) that this is the first of a new range of "affordable performance" cars that Toyota are planning. I hope that they bring a worthy successor to the Supra out, perhaps a FJ-ZA80 that would be nice.
  17. I had this once, found out the garage who did the service on mine didnt tighten the "+" battery terminal and the car was doing strange things like you said, once it was tight it was good
  18. I have to agree with you chris, I recently went to Phuket along the coast where they had the Tsunami, speaking to a taxi driver there we asked how much did the people actually see from the UK, his answer was "not a lot from anyone at all" he mentioned they had some food supplies but no evidence of the millions we/other countries pledged to them for rebuilding the area. This comment disappointed me, ok my money went towards the flight fuel, cost of food supplies etc, but 90% of it was probably eaten up by "admin" costs, I think that dedicated disaster aid charities operation costs should be funded by the government, and majority if not all of the donations collected sent to these countries. I will still be donating as every little bit helps but there should be a better way.
  19. Ok i see your point i meant like the usual "i got pulled for 2mph over" type of argument.
  20. I think its great for them to let a bit off a bit of steam, lets not forget they get the brunt of the drunks, have to visit gorey car crashes, listen to people shout at them for pulling them over as they were breaking the law, no wonder they are grumpy. You dont know later on that day they could of let off a motorist that was breaking the speed limit as they were in a better mood.
  21. Reverse that dude. Get her to make up for it.
  22. Can that not be repaired rather than replaced??
