There is a company in basingstoke that was working on a Singled 2JZ conversion on a RX7, so that could be an idea as i think he said to me the owner was thinking of selling it, cant remember the company name though they usually do MR2's

Seen a little app called aDyno on the Android market, it’s got quite a few good reviews etc. I know these things are never that accurate but i wanted to know if anyone set this up for use with the supra as our car is not in the database. Some of you may have read i am looking to go single or hybrids over the winter, i am still deciding which... I just wanted to get a show of hands on who thinks this is the turbo seals that have gone.... No smoke on start up, when engine is operating temp and left to idle for a few mins i get this.... and its pretty dam smelly. Still getting good boost, engine feels good no sluggishness etc. ExXTwBkYy1k

Hi All, Was watching a rerun of the Gadget show last night and there was a couple of HD camcorders that shoot slow motion in either 300 or 600fps, however the resolution of these slow motion images were pretty useless less than 640x480. Does anyone know any HD camcorders that do slow motion with a descent resolution in the £500-£1k bracket? Rich

I have had mixed information on EBC pads.... probably not worth it. I have heard alot of good things with regards the Chris Wilson Pads.... go for the latter

Hi All, I am upgrading my entire brake setup (front and rear) to a BBK conversion in the next month or so (Its all ordered up just waiting for delivery). I just wanted to know would it be worth buying a brand new master cylinder as 80% of braking system is being replaced? Rich

haha, thats funny... to think someone was actually happy driving that about. Someone stood back after it coming out of the bodyshop thinking .... "Wow !! ahhhh its just like a BMW Yeah !!!" biting their fist and pretending the knee the air. If i were a police officer writing that down i wouldn't worry about the car, i would add in the notes recommendation for the person to go in a mental hospital.

Just got back from a little spirited drive around some country roads and parked up back at home after waiting for a few mins (to cool the old twins down). I blipped the throttle and guess what, a little puff of blue smoke appeared After a little while i did it again and the same thing happened so looks like the twins have popped a seal somewhere so i Turned her off and then went indoors waited for an hour had a cuppa and a twix and popped back outside with my wife so she can start it up so i can check for smoke on start up etc. She started it up all clear no smoke, waited until operating temp was reached then a blip of the throttle and yep you guessed it a very little puff of blue smoke popped out of the exhaust, so this must be the turbo seals on their way out. Said to the wife that to sort this out i will need to change the turbos and this is the oppertunity i spoke to her about before going for a big single turbo. She then said and i quote "Only one (with a look her face), i like the idea it already has two turbos it sounds better to have two, going to one seems a step back, cant you get a like a big twin turbo setup instead" ... Ok then.... any reccomendations on big tub setups i know whifbitz is doing their own kit, anyone taken the plunge with these as yet?? I would like to keep the autobox as i have some plans for that later on down the line, so probably just want to max at 400-450bhp for now (and keep replacing boxes ) and if i can increase the strength of the stock box then a bit more later on Its nice to have a wife that likes cars...
