  1. Really sorry to hear mate I shall be showing this post to my two step daughters, as only a couple of days ago I came home from work to find our back door unlocked, windows open fully and sky on pause for 65mins. Yes...NO ONE IN THE HOUSE!! I was NOT a happy chap I can tell you Do hope you get things sorted and someone spots the car.
  2. They have put the whole album on soundcloud for people to have a listen. Sounds a cracking album, heard a few of the tracks at there gig the other month and it really went down well. White Limo is a nice heavy track http://soundcloud.com/foofighters Enjoy! (only if you like the Foo's of course)

Whats the current method you use clear car windows of ice and why? Heat on full inside, use scrapper outside. Find it's quick enough for me. Any current problems people have with exisitng products they use? i.e. Scrapers etc... Noticed the scrapper has scratched the windscreen this year, need a differant method next year How long does it usually take you to clear your windows of ice? Less than 2mins Does anyone use any different methods to normal? (i.e. different to scraping, deicer, cover, jug of water etc..) Have used sheet on front of windscreen in the past, ended up giving up due to PITA putting on. Used warm water which is the best method but now where I live not really possible. Has anyone made any modifications to the equipment they currently use to improve it? No How annoying on a scale of 1-5 is it to have to clear the ice off on cold mornings? 5 = Very Annoying 1 = Not bothered. 5 = Very Annoying
  4. mmmmm me want. Not something you can miss, but great shot at 80
  5. stu861 - Lol how mad is that, been a while since I picked up Grid but funny enough I fancied a quick go on it last night on the 360 It is a great game, might try and get back in to it over the next few weeks to complete it, then I can justify going out and buying Shift2 as that looks pretty awesome.
  6. http://www.stuttgart9.co.uk/forum/car-detailing/5767-mozs-detailers-inc-versus-lambo-lp560-4-spyder-warning-detailing-porn-alert.html Obviously tongue in cheek, but made me laugh
  7. Wow insane, no surprise the gearbox won't hold up lol. Good luck with it and keep us all posted how it goes.
  8. Looks to me like a clean honest add, looks like someone may pick up a good example TT. As said above, these cars are getting on a bit now so for a non modified TT the price seems fair for age etc...
  9. Stepping slightly away from the main subject of eye damage watching 3D.... Do many of you think that 3D has much of a future? Having watched Avatar at the cinema, then buying it on Blu-Ray, I felt that the 3D made no difference in the experience of the film (and yes I can see the 3D) Don't get me wrong, I love my tech and follow all the latest big things but I'm really not sold on the idea as yet, also as a person that wears glasses, I do find it irritating wearing those bloody 3D glasses over the top of them Once these 3D TV's don't need the glasses then perhaps it "maybe" stepping in the right direction but.. are we then going to have the problems that the 3DS is having - Warnings for younger viewers / can't sit at an angle / regular breaks from viewing..... All this then steps back to the main subject again . . . . Agree with Suprab1, curious to watch playboy in 3D
  10. Many more articles are appearing of late on the long term effects of 3D on peoples eyes, this being the latest: http://www.technologyreview.com/computing/24976/?mod=related Are you guys worried on what 3D tv/cinema maybe doing to our eyes?. Do you think the same industry pushing us in to 3D are doing enough research on the long term effects? Have you suffered headaches after watching a 3D film in the cinema/home? Friend of mine said a while ago that she knows of someone that cannot see the 3D, so it's a total waste of time for them. Nintendo only said a while ago about turning the 3D function off on the 3DS for children under 6 years old, plus people have ended up getting a headache playing that machine after a few minutes. What are your thoughts.....
  11. Yep watched that with the mrs. My god them teeth where bad, how could that young lad go there
  12. Just to open up an older thread.... I have a netgear router that came with the sky package 2 years ago. Really needing a router with stronger wireless (router is in one corner of house and xbox in the other, cant be moved really) so signal not to strong I'd also would like to connect a hardrive to router for mac upstairs and mrs laptop down stairs. Any recommendations for 2011 model router or could there be something from last year thats just as good? As per Pig, so much to choose from out there
  13. The guy is selling a Wetsuit and it's now built up quite a following due to his write up (love some of the reply's as well) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160559216667#ht_1408wt_1141 XCEL 3-2mm Infiniti Drylock Summer Wetsuit Medium USED I bought this wetsuit brand-new last year and have worn it a fair bit. When I say 'fair' I reckon about 20 times, but then probably more like 30. A fair few times anyway. HOWEVER you will like this, If it was not being worn, it was hung on a hangar or rolled to prevent creasing AND I rinsed it in fresh water after EVERY session so it's in VERY good condition as I look after my gear, I always do, similarly I take care of my body and shower at least once a day and always moisturise. Yes you're probably getting a feel for the kind of man I am. You can see from the pictures it has no creases and looks lovely. My friend Gaz has got a wetsuit that he doesn't look after and it looks like an Elephant's arse, all wrinkled, a bit like an old man's testicle. You're probably thinking "People p*ss in wetsuits, I'm not sure about a second hand wetsuit", but believe it or not I have NEVER urinated in this suit, seriously, these suits are too good to be doing such a vulgar act in, the wee just ends up staying in the suit and then when you're sat having a post-surf pint in the pub you smell awful and girls don't like boys that smell of p*ss so you just sit there, alone all night, sobbing into your pint of Betty Stoggs like a lonely desperate p*ss smelling man. I've included a picture of a bear using a urinal, this is how I normally use the toilet, notice that the animal is not wearing a wetsuit. Although I am not a bear, I, like a bear, do not p*ss in wetsuits. It's a size medium or "m", it was the top of the range suit when I bought it, I think I paid around £300 for it, still a great warm suit that will make you surf at least 200% better. It won't really but it will keep you warm and it's flexible so you'll be able to throw your arms around like Beyonce whilst you're bouncing along a wave. People will look at you and say "f*ckin hell check that dude out, he knows what he's doing wearing one of those Xcel suits and he's got some fresh dance moves". They probably won't say this. Now as it's been worn, there's some signs of wear around the neck, which I've taken pictures of, so you don't say "oi you c*nt, there's area of wear around the neck I'm giving you bad feedback". The pictures make it look worse than it is (because they're close-ups), and I've taken the pictures with the suit turned inside out, when it's the right way round you don't see the wear and it has no effect on the performance of the suit. That was a bit boring wasn't it, but it had to be done so you can't take me to eBay court for not being honest with you. Why am I selling it? Well I've just bought a new one, as I'm a flash tw*t like that, I tend to get a new suit every season, I just like the feel of fresh neoprene on my soft skin, and well to be honest I could do with some cash to pay for prostitutes. No, that was a joke, now you're going to think the suit is riddled with disease but it's not as I was joking I do NOT engage with ladies of the night. I'll post it out the next working day following cleared payment, or if you're around the Truro area you can come and collect it thus avoiding postage charges. Having said that, if you're a maniac, maybe you should just let me post it to you as I don't want to be murdered to death, especially as the summer is just beginning! WOO HOO. Any questions just ask, I'll answer them very quickly as I'm sat at a computer all f*cking day, unless there's waves. Thanks for looking and reading all of that ridiculous text, I hope you have a wonderful day.
  14. Yes from me, great show
  15. Good for you Ditch. As you say; you have hardly any money so can only scrape enough money to get a little Corsa. Just for fun you're adding your little touch (but without the stupid body kits, respect! ) to make it your own.
  16. Moderator: Is this ok to put on here as I'm in theory advertising for a company? Thought you guys and girls might want to know about this new place opening up: http://s4.postimage.org/u53dch0ep/header1.jpg http://www.8balldiner.com/ The 8 Ball Diner has been created with the vision of providing the best facility in the UK for any car or bike enthusiast club or group. The Diner reflects its owners’ passions for cars and bikes both new and old, 50s lifestyle, Bikes, Drags, Vintage and Kustom Kulture - but our ‘take’ on this still manages to offer the style and comfort of a truly 21st^century restaurant and bar. We care about our food, our customers, and our facilities, in a way that ‘franchised’ or ‘corporate’ bar/restaurants just cannot. We are currently building a calendar of events for 2011 and onwards, with clubs ‘hosting’ a regular night, breakfast meet, or day meeting at the 8 Ball. Each night will still be open to all owners and enthusiasts, whether or not they are members of the host club. Some of our core events will be hosted by specialist magazines or internet forums, but again open to everyone. (We have free Wi-Fi for you to brag on the forum that you’re posting from the 8 Ball). Our own interests lie in Kustoms,VWs, Hot Rods/Street Rods, Classic British and Classic American Cars and Bikes, Sports and Prestige, Racing, Classic Italian Scooters, performance cars of all types, and more besides.^You can check our own past and current rides here. We are situated on the A12 Northbound at Rivenhall, Essex, between Chelmsford and Colchester. The Southbound ‘detour’ is just a couple of minutes. Parking is available for 200+ bikes, or 70+ cars. The venue offers restaurant and bar facilities, as well as comfortable seating, pool, pinball, and an interior fusing retro imagery and contemporary styling. There is no question that the 8 Ball is all about a love of cars and bikes, but other areas have not been overlooked. The sound system, plasma TVs and air conditioning help create a ‘club’ atmosphere, but that’s not a reason to not indulge in the extensive British and American styled food menu. Bangers & Mash and Steak & Kidney Pudding sit proudly alongside smokehouse Chillis and hand formed Burgers, all of which can be washed down with beer, American lagers, glass bottled colas, or traditional milkshakes. We hope you like what you find at the 8 Ball today, but be assured we are not going to stop improving until we’re the best roadside diner on the planet. The owners: The 8 Ball Diner is owned and run by three automotive enthusiasts, Brett Hawksbee, Brian Burrows and Pete Fearn. All have been heavily involved in event promotion for many years and have created well in excess of 150 very memorable and enjoyable ‘car’ shows as well as owning some very nice rides themselves. Regards, Jim

  18. Yes I read that today as well. Let's all be honest here, it's no real surprise is it. The last good phone they brought out was the N95 and that was how long ago now.... Most of the "smart phones" they have been bringing out over the last couple of years have had nothing but bl00dy software problems. Real shame as years ago Nokia had a lot going for them.
  19. I think I have about 8000 points. My points have slowly gone up since the first xbox I owned. As you can tell, I never end up finishing most of my games and not really bothered about getting all the points in them, plus I don't get the time Must admit, it does astound me on how people find the time to build up these HUGE points. And to add: "Points are Pointless" You don't get anything from them
  20. Come on.. you know it makes sense, come along to a proper festival
  21. Oh rubbish, but then I know which one I'd choose
