  1. Hi all. Bit of a gamer & collector of old & new (my poor girlfriend) Me mate just emailed me asking if there are any retro shows on this year? We went over to CGEXPO UK last year (very good) but not sure if it's on this year? There website seems to be down. Do any of you guys know of any others on during this year. Gonna try to dig around a few more boot faires this year though. CHEERS! for reading Jim

Oh:fool: , so ya can get the grey one's from the main dealer. I've searched high & low on the net for a grey logo but could not find, only silver When I have some more time might pop in to my local toyota dealer then. Out of interest how much did they charge?
  6. Good god 11 pints of Guiness thats 11 full meals is it not
  7. Must admit, thats what we thought had happend at first, that there might of been diesel in the unleaded. Think that's why jo was panicking even more so.
  8. 100% with you on that comment.
  9. Hi Carole. Thought I saw you on another thread Should your name be SteveW's Mrs (sorry!) So it takes another hour to turn all the pumps back on. All I can say is TUFF! to that garage guy for upsetting my other half P.s In me new home now, so if there are any meets soon then should be able to make it.
  10. If only you had video footage, that would of been worth seeing again (But don't try this at home kids )
  11. Had fun Sunday just gone. Went with the other half on her Nissan Figaro meet to Leeds castle (oh the joy). On the way there she pulled in to get some petrol for her boy. Filled up with £15 worth of super unleaded, then off she went to pay while I sat in the car. 10mins went before she came back to the car looking a funny colour? Jo what's wrong; I said. The guy in the garage said I've put Diesel in the fig? I've told him I defiantly put unleaded inn, but he's insistent that I've used Diesel. I don't get it she said. I'm sure I put Unleaded in (starting to question herself) Jo & myself both went back to see him, & sure enough he was very insistent that she put Diesel in when she didn't. He then stopped all the pumps in the garage, which as you can guess did not go down well with people just pulling in to the garage After about 20mins had gone & us arguing with this guy, he checked the pumps to then find he was going by the price of the Diesel which turned out to be the same price as the Super Unleaded. Yep the price was wrong on the pump. Pleased, we where not could of the guy. We did not even get an apology from the him. Still, Jo managed to get super unleaded for the price of Diesel which was a result. Poor girl, she was as white as a sheet, shacking & everything. So gave her a big The rest of the day went well though, had good time in the end Has anyone else managed to close a petrol station before?
  12. Oooo snowboarding, now there's something I'd love to try. (When I have some money, grrrr!) I do a bit of kite boarding (which can be hard work at times) I would think snowboarding can make you ache after a while though?
  13. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully RetroGamer is back on the shelves (for us Retro geeks) as there publisher went in to receivership few months ago but they managed to get another publisher. Fingers crossed someone buys GamesTM. Still have Edge to fall back on which is a great mag for the multiformat.
  14. Agree with you 100% mate. I ended my subscription about 6 months ago for thoughs reasons. I just surf the net now on finding the latest info on gadgets. (cheaper to ) I think one of my mates still gets it every month, I'll drop him an email, see if he can dig it out for you Michael.
  15. Feel for ya mate. Most horrible thing to see is your prized possession destroyed. I sold a car to one of my mates few years ago. It was mint when I sold it, no marks anywhere. Month later he turned up in it with few dents & scrapes. Many months later he tells me it's had a couple of spray jobs on the bumper and so on due to more scrapes & bumps. He still has it and it's a total sh!t heap now. Impressed I 'm not If ya sold ya sup, what have ya got now? Or did you go out and buy another one?
  16. and whats the betting that some chav will buy them to fit on his escort
