  1. I'm loving the front bumper on the gold supra, any one know make/model of it? Think I've seen the same shape on a black supra, might be a member on here.
  2. The day after you go bankrupt, you can get another bank account but you have to declare that you've gone bankrupt, if they accept you, they will put you on a basic account (so no overdraft or DD cards just an account where you can have wages paid in & direct debits set up). Once you’re clear of bankruptcy, you can then go on to a normal account again, but that is after a few years or at banks discretion. Must admit, I have been having doubts, but I've done a lot of research & can only see this as the right way to go FOR ME . Anything less than £20,000 I would not see the point (unless you lost ya job)
  3. Mate sort out your debts NOW!!! I was in your amount of debt few years ago, since then it's doubled to £32,000 & I've now got to the point I can't cope. Also I've just turned 30, just got married, not a very clever situation to be in when my life is going so well. I went & got advice from the CAB & they said I have 1 of 3 choices. 1: Do nothing, struggle for a few more months then start getting the letters then the bailiffs. 2: Work out incomings outgoings, see what's left, then go through the motions of paying back % each month that you can afford & the debt people agree on. But this can take many years. 3: Go bankrupt. After 1 year all debt is wiped & your clear, will be on points record for about 6 years. Afraid for me number 3 is my better option, happening in 3 weeks I don't own a home, my only expensive asset is my supra. But I hope to sell that this week for a cheaper motor (as still need car for work) the money left over I'll offer as asset. It's horrible thing debt, but you have to face up to it that if you get that much in shit you have to grow up & face the consequences. Don't leave it to late. Sort it. Do wish you luck, but do work out your finances properly & decide if you really can afford to run a supra on current wages? Also try not to keep re-negotiating loans, as over time it can get worse, that's what got me in this mess. (long story) Again, good luck let's hope like me ya learn
  4. Dont think the other one is due in till 2007.
  5. Yep that's right, you can now buy a Veyron from Autotrader with 100 miles on the clock. I worked out if I dont spend ANY money I earn for 60 years, by the time up 90 years old I can buy one Ooooo then there's the insurance so that would be another 10 years......so I'll be 100 before I can own & drive one.... Soooooooo [sAD][/sAD]

  8. Will you be going to JAE this weekend coming. Love to see your car there. You might gather more interest for selling.
  9. Fantastic, your a life saver
  10. Sorry with the late question. My mrs seems to be organizing (long story) the Nissan Figaro stand, so we will be there for whole weekend. As my car will be the support car and on the Fig stand , would you have any objections for me & mate to gate crash & have a few beers with you guys in the evening. Sounds like your stand will be a bit of a blast both evenings so love to pop over. Plus I don't think I'll be able to put up with talking about Figaro's every evening I'll have a few can's with me PLEASE Jim
  11. yep, yours is crap Sorry But yes, ours in Maldon, Essex, is super unleaded 99ron. Did used to be 97ron but they changed it some time last year.
  12. Not an expert on this field at all, but don't japan run at 99 / 100ron? If we are then importing high performance jap cars in to this country we should then still run our cars with the same grade petrol?? As I say, i'm no expert so could be wrong.
  13. I always put Tesco 99 in mine now. I have put normal in the tank in the past, but I have noticed a slight difference with the running of the engine, so gone back to 99 again. In the end it's trial & error with personnel preference really. So up to you bud.
  14. Must admit, not a fan of fords.... BUT.... I've seen some great mk1 & mk2 conversion's in the past. From what I hear there nice & easy to work on, so good for beginners and boy can they shift "with the right engine" plus handle great.
  15. My parents breed Bassets (as well as other breeds) and have one at the moment of similar age to your's. My dads trying to train her for Film & TV work (as the the other one is getting on a bit now, poor boy) at the moment he's having a few problems with her being a little lively. He's gonna try using the clicker system on her a bit more. This is where you make a certain sound when they do somthing they shoudn't....sure you must of seen it on TV, works pretty well. If you require, I'm sure I could get some info for you. As for the smell, yep Oust! him Jim
  16. Very shoked to read the news after being away for a few days & hoping the young lad would pull through My fullest condolences to Karls family, this really has been a moving thread for what we thought was going to be of better news. Full to Steve for keeping us all in the know as well, your a great man. R.I.P Karl, always remembered. James & Jo P.s Perhaps we should have a 2 minutes silence in memory of Karl at the Supra Club stand at JAE??
  17. P.s edd t, Just noticed ya sonic avatar , I like.
  18. yep & guess who got a Amiga CD32 on release Must admit I'm having more fun on the older machines than the new ones. Bought meself a Vectrex machine about a month ago. It's classic, my mates love it, sitting there trying to beat each others scores on Minestorm. As for the DC, SORRY ya can't have mine , still collecting great schmups for it. You'll find them cheap enough at boot sales or cash convertors. That will be a top present at a cheap price, should be able to find a bargain mate
  19. I'm more of a R34 man myself, but I must admit, if I had the cash I wouldn't say know to this one. Good luck with the sale, someone really will get a cracking R33.
  20. Like a few people on the forum, I don't know the young chap, but will still be keeping my fingers crossed that he pulls through this. Hope the family can keep there strength up for Karl & there selfs. Come on Karl.......
  21. I'll be popping along for both days (camping) but I'll be on the Nissan Figaro Club stand . My Sup's gonna be the support car for my mrs Figaro. Even though my car will be on there stand , hope you guys welcome me with open arms to your stand Here's looking forward to a cracking weekend (roll on July 22nd) EDIT: Just noticed this thread is under Events, North West, ooops (done search for JAE and ended up here) will be coming from Maldon, Essex, but as I say; hope ya welcome me to ya stand.
  22. For any of you gamers out there. I fell upon this site last night on my net travels: http://www.hermitgames.com/ The guy has done a remake of jetpac in the style of MarioSunshine. What a great job he's done as well, could not put the joypad down. Another class game on his site is: 'troid, an Asteroid remake. Looking forward to he's next one. Laters, Jim

    Games PC

Hat off to you mate, that is one FINE bit of kit:respekt: Then again at that price, think I'd want it gold plated as well
  24. Many years ago my mother used to breed pugs. Strange little dogs they are with googly eye's (this being a bit of a problem) as they would some times nock there eye out & my mother had to come along and put it back in. VERY grossssss!!!! Bad child hood memories
  25. Doh! cheers, forgot about the mag. Now I'm back home I'll have a little flick through see if there's anything in there .
