Wow, this one really has hit a few nerves! Which is great, there's nothing like a good thread to get everyone thinkin and everyone's opinions out, which of course, everyone is entitled too! But with regards to the above comment, (what about jazz, rockabilly, punk, be-bop, blues, prog rock, latin, metal, dance band, choral, swing, folk, world, country) Are you mad??? i'm a 25 year old clubber! not a 35 year old past it! Have you ever tried to DJ any of the above? no cos you cant, you can't possibly beat match any of the above genre's of music succesfully and seamlessly on any of today's turntables (and would probably struggle on CD mixers too - even if you had a wide range of pitch) I consider myself rather epcleptic in the music i listen to, ok yes they are all in the dance / electronic genre, but if you listened to the different types you would appreciate they are all massively different from each other, hence the need to subcategorise so many different variants of "house music" I can appreciate the necessity for such other styles of music such as "kill the wabbit" tune etc. in films and agree they work with great effect, but this is a thread on what music you drive to on a day to day basis, and being a fairly young lad into the club scene, i could never imagine crusing round in a 400 BHP car with classical on! But again that is my opinion and i am glad to see everyone putting some response in!

Grazer's 3 spoke alloy wheels have gone!!! Hooray!!!!
Dino V replied to Dino V's topic in Supra Chat
Maybe youre right, but as you say i think the difference would be minimal and i don't think you would notice a massive difference in wear and tear over a year. I agree, if the purpose of shaping the spokes was indeed to aid brake cooling, they should have considered that when they made both left and right hand sides, but i suppose for £893 you cant really be too picky! Has anyone ever heard of an alloy that does actually do this? where both left hand side and right hand side are differently shaped to aid this cooling effect? -

Alright fella, shame you don't like them, everyone who has seen the car since the three spokes have come off thinks it looks miles better, and those pics dont really do them justice, i personally love deep dish, chrome style alloys, and considering the limited choice you have due to the Supra's large calipers, and the fact i got brand new 18's with new tyres for under £900, i think i've done pretty well! With regards to your argument about the pattern of the spokes cooling the alloys, doesn't hold much water i'm afraid! The reason being if they were shaped to cool the discs/calipers etc. they would be styled in the same fashion but in reverse for the other side of the car. The pattern you see on the pics (left hand side of car) is opposite on the driver side of the car (think if you took the front left wheel off and put it on the front right, the pattern of the spokes is opposite - meaning the air cooling effect would be opposite also) anyway, i'm blabbing now so i'll stop! Shame because i would have liked to have thought the wheels did cool the brakes! well maybe they do, but only on the left hand side of the car............. -

Fronts - 225x40x18 Rears - 255x40x18 The tyres are Kumho's the rears are actually called Kumho Supra's! ??? I must admit theyre not quite as grippy as the Goodyear F1's that were on the three spokes, but theyre not miles off. -
Good choice Mr Fox! but i think you meant Paul Van Dyk - For an Angel! But then again maybe you've got the right angle remix!

Whoa! With me being a DJ, i wasn't too interested with the rock / death metal scene etc. as i don't consider that music! ok, i forgot to include rnb/hip hop and drum n bass/jungle but with the exception of classical, i wanted to get a feel for what people listen to in the dance / electronic music genre! as that's the only genre worth listening to anyway! Glad to see a lot of tech house fans (check out Yoshimoto - Do What You Du - Trentmoller remix) it was massive out there in ibiza this year and is gonna take off big time here soon. I would say i listen to sounds in this order: A. The engine (i've not had it long though!) B. Funky House C. Tech House D. Trance E. A bit of everything else!

Grazer's 3 spoke alloy wheels have gone!!! Hooray!!!!
Dino V replied to Dino V's topic in Supra Chat
I sold them about 2 weeks ago for £650 I didn't think anyone was really a fan of them on here? -
Hi folks! Just got back from ibiza, am f**ked now! was well cool though! Thought some of you that new Grazer's car when he had it would look like once i've got me mits on it! I've promptly removed the front centre mounted reg, changed the back and got rid of those unsightly jap 3 spokers for some deep dish hi-power silver 18" Ace Aviator's - not bad for £893 with tyres! - from wheelbase in oldham. Oh car is performing great now, no hesitation whatsoever since i got rid of them old sparkies. Next i need to get rid of those orange blobs for some nice clear one's. Where's the best place to get some and how easy are they to fit?
-
Alright Grazer, car is feeling fine and i think it has already sorted me my first lay! Ok, she's young but that's cool with me!

Looks well in black, personally i'd whip the alloys off, but youve got a nice clean example!

Clear indicators for a 94 with Veilside Front bumper
Dino V replied to Dino V's topic in mkiv Technical
Thanks Paul, but i've found the indicators i want on Ebay, just wanted some help & advice on fitting and which ones are ok for the veilside front bumper. -
I'm 25 with 6 years no claims living in Manchester and i got quoted £1081 fully comp which i think is amazing! My mates are well gutted! They also know she's 400 BHP and i've also submitted extra photos of the car to make sure (should anything nasty happen to the car) they pay what its worth and not the "book" price! Give Sky a call!
-
Yo yo! anyone know where i can get clear indicators to fit my 94 J spec Supra? They need to fit in Veilside bumper as pic below. I saw a thread recently and it mentioned clear indicators for a veilside kit but they were 97-98 style indicators. What else would i need to do? Many thanx. Dino

God damn car is still hesitating / misfiring even after new plugs!
Dino V replied to Dino V's topic in mkiv Technical
Thanks guys, seems to have sorted itself out on its own again! Will check the fuel filter and spark plug gaps if it starts happening again. -
Hi all, wondered if anyone could shed light. Just changed my oil and oil filter and whilst at the garage (since the car had been misfiring/hesitating very occasionally) decided to change the spark plugs for some brand new NGK BCPR7ES as recommended by various peeps on here. The air filter was cleaned at the same time. Oh, and i put some fuel treatment in the tank and sprayed some "power boost" into the inlet manifold - thought i'd give her a real clean. As soon as the guy took her up the road, i could see it misfiring, more at low revs. Now it seems to be doing it just now and again, and not so much at full throttle. Annoying though as i expected the new plugs to remove all hesitation whatsoever, and at the moment i feel like i've spent £110 to make the car go slower!
