  1. This kind of sh!t makes me sick, I could kind of understand it if they broke in but they get nothing out of this. I had mine keyed badly a couple years ago outside my ex-girlfriends flat, after three resprays to get it right its still always noticeble to me. I never leave it out at night now, stays safely locked up in the garage under the house. Hope you get it sorted soon mate.
  2. Ok cheers, thats what I thought but just wanted to check. I'm planning on getting a new rad anyway, just wasn't sure if its ok to drive the car with this stuff in the meantime.
  3. I just had my cambelt changed yesterday and while the radiator was out the mechanic noticed it was getting a bit rusty so he put some Wynns Radiator Stop Leak in to be safe. I know Radweld is not good to use but he assures me this Wynns stuff is ok as it contains lubricants to stop it clogging waterways etc. Does anyone know if this is ok, or should I get the whole system drained out and refilled with normal coolant asap? Cheers
  4. I recently contacted VOSA about this after my MOT, and got this reply: "Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your e-mail enquiry dated 30th March 2010, concerning MOT emissions. When testing the emissions of a vehicle for the MOT test, the MOT tester should check their "In Service Exhaust Emission Standards for Road Vehicles" book to check if there is an exact match for the vehicle they are testing and it's engine code. If there is an exact match, then they would test the vehicle according to the emissions levels stated for it in the book. If there is no exact match then the vehicle would be tested according to it's age. Passenger cars that have no exact match in the book and are first used between 1 August 1986 and 31st July 1995 would require a non cat test and would need to meet the following limits: CO You can view the latest In Service Exhaust Emissions standards for road vehicles via the link below (click on section 1 or section 2 CSV). http://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/inserviceexhaustemissionsstandardsforroadvehicles.htm You can also view the MOT inspection manuals via the link below:- http://www.transportoffice.gov.uk/crt/doitonline/bl/mottestingmanualsandguides/mottestingmanualsandguides.htm There is not an exact match in the emissions book for a 1993 Toyota Supra RZ, so it should be tested according to it's date of first use. " So basically only a non-cat test is needed on older Supras. I'll be printing this out and taking it with me next year!

    Plymouth.....

Black aerotop was probably my mate Pete, drives that way every day
  9. Sounds like what happened to my XR2, turned out the vacuum hose attached to the brake servo had split.
  10. A few months ago I borrowed a mates car to drive home from the pub because I was sure I'd left the cooker on. Was it on? Was it f^ck.
  11. Thanks a bloody lot, not only do I now think I'm normal, I've picked up a few other habits from everyone else. I'm off to stare at the oven till 6 o'clock.
  12. Mines been doing this since having a boost controller fitted, when first installed the garage didnt bypass the actuator vsv so the 1st turbo was boosting at 1.2bar and i had a wailing noise that sounded like a police siren. Now capped off the vsv and the noise is still there a bit when cold. First thought my 1st turbo was fcked but as its a jspec apparently they don't sound like this on their way out? All pipework seems ok with no obvious leaks. I also have an HKS bov which seems to be spitting more oil vapour than usual.
  13. http://www.mr2bodykit.co.uk/ Doesn't quite look right, and definately wouldn't sound right!
  14. Any chance you've got a rear subframe?
  15. Just saw it today (well yesterday now), looks real good with the stock sides. I'd put one on mine if it wasn't silver. It would look even better with an RMM rear spoiler I reckon
  16. Could you put me down for a set too please? Cheers

    Hi guys

Wasn't me, but I'm in the Mouth
  18. Mine are Sport Trendlines. I think they were £1085 delivered from Capital Seating, plus about £260 for a pair of Bride frames from Whifbitz.
  19. I just fitted these to mine but I went for the ones without electrics, as it costs 200 quid extra per seat and as nobody else drives the car they never move. Now I don't fall out of my seat going round corners:).
  20. Sorry bout that, got my wires crossed. Congratulations on that 13.7 mate. I had that TC problem on the 2nd run - left the car to go watch the jet car and forgot the TC would be back on again when I started the engine. Think I got around a 15, too ashamed to go get the timing slip. Then didn't have time for a 3rd run 'cos my mates had to leave early and all my stuff was in their truck. Will have to try harder next time.
  21. That'll be me then. My first ever run up the strip and I missed a gear same as you. Gutted.
