A colleague of mine has been involved in some consultancy work for Toyota UK, and informs me that following a recent audit they have discovered a long lost prototype of a convertible Supra (not an Aerotop). Developement work commenced using a specialist team here in the UK, but was abandonded around 2000. I understand this prototype, the only one remaining, had been languishing for a number of years in the garage of a Toyota development engineer. From what I can gather, the hood folds down into where the back seats normally are, i.e. it is a 2 seater only. He has got me this photo of it, and will try and find out more

Dont think there are any aftermarket steering wheels with airbags, otherwise that would be the next thing after wheels and exhausts

I had this problem with my original J Spec battery which is smaller. If you want to change to full size UK spec battery you need to cut the bracket off the battery strap so that it fits, I also had to pack between the strap and the battery as it was slightly shorter - use a thin piece of wood or something You may also need to change the terminals on the ends of the cables as the UK battery has standard euro terminals, not the smaller japanese ones. Easily done with clamp on type replacement battery terminals. I got a 5 year Bosch battery for the same price as Halfords own make over the internet.

Switch the boot light off - if the tailgate doesn't shut properly it stays on. Quite frankly, if the battery is over 6 years old and not driven daily, get a new one.

I paid £7.5k for my Facelift Aerotop 3 1/2 years ago - havn't seen many for sale since. What year is it?

It's obvious - land speed record!! Bolt 32 NA engines in a line and you have 7200 bhp! Goldenrod broke the land speed record in 1965 with four V8 engines - giving 2400 bhp. So, if speed is proportional to the cube root of engine power, then I calculate Biguns' car will do 600mph - easily beating the land speed record for an internal comb engine car! And all with an engine costing around £7k - brilliant!!
