  1. I need what I think is a vacuum sensor - bolts into the inlet manifold at the back, just under the banjo bolt on my NA, and connects to a small vacuum pipe. Glued the vacuum pipe on temporarily, but don't think it will last. looked at the Toyo website but no clues there, anyone know the part number? Cheers Chris
  2. Spacesaver should be OK with 19s because the outside diameter should be the same. The difference between 17s, 18s & 19s is the diameter of the rim - the tyre gets shallower to compensate
  3. If its the one I saw it was £9K, I already had mine by then - after 2 years of looking.
  4. The tool is the Aerotop tool, but it is far easier & quicker with an electric screwdriver - use something like a DeWalt which grips the bit, otherwise you spend ages looking for a black bit inside a black car if it falls out.
  5. I've got a Hormann Promatic - had it installed a few years ago and works really well, no problems. As KevO says - make sure it is the right type for your door, I'd also be very wary of unbranded stuff on ebay

    Black mould

Most buildings with solid walls were built pre war when there was open fireplaces, drafty windows and were cooler with no central heating, this all helped to keep them dry. The mold is caused by the damp that forms on the inside surface of a relatively cold wall, especially if unventilated. A permanent cure would be to line the walls with insulated plasterboard - this can be bonded in place with dabs of adhesive, however, you have to remove and replace skirtings, it would add a couple of inches to the wall thickness and you have to work around any windows.
  7. If you want a quick fix try a disklok - I gather they are really difficult to get off
  8. Clearly not a bright spark!
  9. I don't think you can get Toyota ones any more, I've just bought an OEM equivalent from Chris Wilson. My original, which is plastic, has lasted 14 years, so I don't think it is a problem if you get a good quality one.
  10. If you buy an aerotop, chances are you will find a puddle of water on the seat in winter when you get in, followed by a dripping of water on your arm as you set off!!
  11. Porsche Cayman http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/cayman/porsche-cayman-24v-s/2210294
  12. Originally I had the OEM exhaust, and that was too quite. then I put a second decat in on my NA and that was still too quite then I had a silent (?) hi power 3" twin box and that was loud then I then put a 2.5" whifbitz single box, but that was still loud. then I had a small second box welded in (same place as the second box on the whifbitz) and it is now just right - purrs along without excessive noise and doesnt give me a headache after an hour or so on the motorway Chris
  13. Spray them white, put them in and see what they look like before sealing it all up. If you dont like it spay them satin black
  14. Good cause - my daugter did something similar in Namibia, and loved it. I was in kenya for 2 weeks and saw no supras - did see a few tanks going up to the Somali boarder though. If you are in Nairobi go and visit the railway museum - full of old British steam engines rusting away!
  15. Yep - the detachable roof lining and small section of roof behind is black felt - everything else is black vinyl or plastic. I suppose its because they can get wet in the rain - not that anyone would forget and leave it with the roof off when it rains !!
  16. errr ... seems like you have an na as well Graham!!
  17. Agreed - I dont go around boasting about it - it left me psycologically scarred for life - I vowed never to own a boring car !!
  18. My Dad had a square steering wheel like that on his old Allegro (without the switches)
  19. My facelift Aero is all black inside - see pic
  20. No, got a replacement for £25, thanks.
  21. I backed very slowly into a very low wall - this sent a jolt down the exhaust and cracked as weld on the first cat - I bet I wont be the last person to do that!
