  1. Well, finally decided to bite the bullet, splash the cash and go for a turbo to NA conversion. When I have my NA engine in does anyone think I can sell my 550 bhp T61 single turbo engine?
  2. Hi Pete Sorry to hear about your Father in Law, and I don't disagree with what you are saying. I know people who work in medical research and they say something similar - they can only dream of getting a fraction of what the big cancer charities get. However, I don't know anyone who doesn't have a friend or relative affected by cancer either.
  3. It was all OK when I took it off, just checked it and it all looks OK - just a bit of surface rust in places as you would expect. Anyone wants to send me their email I can send some more pics
  4. I've had this HKS Hi Power cat back exhaust hanging around awhile, its off my NA but it looks like 3 inch pipework (think it came from a TT before). As I did the Marsden March the other weekend, raising money for Cancer Research, I thought I'd sell it and whatever I get goes in the pot. Was hoping for £150, but as its not in great nick then maybe £100 - £120? Collection from Sutton Surrey (15 mins junction 8 or 10, M25) Cheers Chris
  5. Restored Supra Mk 3 turbo coming up a Classic Car Auctions - http://www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/toyota-mk3-supra-turbo-5-speed-manual No reserve
  6. These were taken about 2 - 3 years ago when I took it off, been in the shed since. £150 collected
  7. I have an HKS HI Power, was on my NA but before that I think it came from a TT - can't remember what the pipe size is, I would have to check. Im in Sutton Surrey
  8. Whifbitz wouldn't sell just a section - had to be a complete new system!
  9. Why not take it to a stainless exhaust specialist and have the 2nd box cut out and replaced with a section of pipe - I did this but the other way round - had a stainless 2nd box welded in to a single box whifbitz system
  10. Those seats now look great - have you got them back in the car yet?

    Aerotop

When you put the roof back tighten the back bolts first - the pulls the roof panel tight into the sockets at the back. Use an electric screwdriver with a hex bit - it is so much quicker - use the type that grips the bit - saves looking for it in the car when it falls out! Watch out when its hot and sunny as the panel can be very hot when you take it off, and watch out if its windy cos the wind can catch it.
  12. That's great, thanks - I will be very interested in how you get on with fitting these. Hopefully we could have quite alot of interest
  13. OK thanks Interior Innovations have informed me they will offer a discount of 10% for 5 sets or 15% discount for more than 5 sets Maybe we have enough people for a discount?
  14. That's the point I am making - any idea how much it was?
  15. Was there any UK import tax or vat on these when they came over?
  16. With the one way valve bleeder you have to be careful that it doesnt suck air back in through the nipple thread when you release the pedal - if it does that it doesn't matter how good the bleeder is, you end up with air in the system. To avoid this try: - only loosen the nipple off just enough to get the fluid out - smear grease around the nipple thread to seal it up - get a piece of wood about 2' long, on the last press wedge it between the pedal and the front of the seat to keep the pedal down whilst you tighten the nipple up. Hope this helps
  17. Specsavers offers a big discount on 1 new pair of glasses every year for contact lens subscribers, which is quite an incentive. They also sell hearing aids. We also have a local independant who are not cheap but does very well due to the service they offer. Good luck!
  18. You will be competing with developers - looks like a small terrace of new houses next door - they will demolish it and build 2 more, precedent already set ! If its near the station find out what those houses are worth, buy it, get planning for two houses on the site then sell it on
  19. Best thing is to just sell it - someone will buy it and appreciate it for what it is, and not use it as a means of boasting about having a gtr as well.
  20. If the M25/M23 is bad - the A217 from junction 8 takes you down to gatwick via Reigate
  21. You need to use the older stuff they used to call 4life, they told me not to use the latest stuff, although I cant remember which colour is which Alternatively use Halfords OAT which is pink
  22. Do they give you any benchmark figures to compare it with?
  23. HI berg Thanks for that - very useful. Its alot more than I was expecting! Cheers Chris
  24. Hi Josh Yes, thanks - how much do you want for it? Cheers Chris
