  1. Thats a point - come on, let us know when and where
  2. This can't be the same MFN as we went to I am sure, that is unless it has grown up. Yes there used to be nice cars there but these used to be a minority and "them thats with it like" were the majority. Thats why the coppers started to watch the place. But then again what else is there to do on a Sunday night. Best case you get to see some other nice motors, worse case you come back with aching sides from laughing at all the "quality" motors. Have fun.
  3. Well personally I think that is a bit out of order, how dare you suggest going without me. No I am sorry but if you are going to think up an excuse you will need to think of one where we can both go, otherwise you will have to do the run in your Fiat
  4. We used to go a while ago but found that the place was being frequented by the local plod, and on occassions they stopped each car on the way in/ out to carry out checks. Just in case it may be an idea to make sure that your plates are legal before going.
  5. What a great couple of days, was really nice to catch up with people. Some great cars on track as well, it was nice to see the NorthWest main woman (Lynz) tearing the track up once again, and this year showed extra commitment by letting people strip her car down a bit. (I hope that everything has gone back together as it should). Gotta to say I loved Pig's showmanship as well, Red and Blue smoke - classic. Thanks to the moderators for organising the event, but also a big thanks to Tom, Ian Ian and the person who lent the club the extra BBQ burners with out which people may not have got to sample Ian Ian's Hot, Hot Chilli . Once again Tom and Ian pulled it out of the bag by ensuring that everyone was well fed and looked after, although I must admit to being grateful that the megaphone was nowhere to be seen this year. Thanks again guys, already looking forward to come to next years.
  6. What are you trying to say. Ian doesn't really eat that much - does he?
  7. Payment sent for food for myself and "+1"
  8. Sorry for the late reply, once we got in we just collapsed in front of the tv. Thanks to Paul for a great weekend, and for all of the effort that he had put into making it a success. It was a shame that more people didn't turn up after all the work he had been done. Also a big thanks to Vikki for the coffee helped to wake us up before driving the last leg back to Lincoln. Steve and Ping I am glad that the bugs and rain didn't put you off camping, hopefully we might see you at some of the other camping meets. Mike it was nice to see that smile back especially after hitting the 500 mile run in, the car looks great. It will be interesting to see it at the pod. Mike and Steph - congrats to you both, Steve and Lynz thanks for the insect bite cream, I think it brought "+1" some short term relief, enough to get home any way. It was really great to see the old faces again. We are always made to feel so welcome when we come over. Driving around that side of the country really made us miss the North-West however the close proximity to family always acts as a deterrent to us moving back Any here any some pics that we took: Ouch!!! It appears that the bugs liked the taste of H One for Havard just something to remember your favourite crusing place by: Nice to see that all H's training has paid off:
  9. Ohh but that could make for some evening entertainment. By the way Hi from Munich, it's great I get sent away on a training course which means that I have time to log onto the forum - how cool is that
  10. Tom, Please count us in, and whatever we can do to help just let us know. Just let us know when you want the money. Just one question any chance that there would be food for us awkward veggies, or do you want me to pick some up. (No Quorn though please) Looking forward to this
  11. I don't think fitting bodykits has anything to do with vanity but more to do with individuality, and not wanting to be the same as everyone else. I am pretty sure that if everyone's supra was standard that at shows, etc the MKIV stand would not get as much attention as it currently does. After all if all 100+ supra's at JAE, when it was a Peterbourough a couple years ago, where all standard once people had looked at a couple they would soon move on. Don't get me wrong badly kitted supra's wind me up, but personally I love to see both standard and probably kitted supra's. After diversity is the spice of life! (Before anyone says anything about mine, I am not a lover of the veilside spoiler either, and as soon as the opportunity arises it is going )

    Hello

I was so looking forward to hearing this one go up Broadway, after all it was being driven by a stunt man in a car chase but it appears that they were tooo scared. Or afraid of denting the car Pretty sexy though, and of course I mean the car and not the driver
  13. Ours wasn't far off that price from Sky, give Adrian Flux a call and see what they can do, and also A-Plan
  14. How do they work out for you then, what is your experience of them over the past 10 years!!!!
  15. Tried that and Sky said that they would only match Adrian Flux's quote.
  16. I got my quote last week from Sky and the premium has gone up again even though there is another years NCB on the policy, and also the other half and I are another year older (and wiser!!). I rang Adrian Flux and they have beaten Sky's price by nearly £100 and thrown in protected NCB (something we don't have with Sky). When I rang Sky back they agreed to match the price from Adrian Flux, but to be honest I am getting a little fed-up with their policy of charging £50 - £100 more than everyone else everytime that renewal comes around, and then spending time having to ring A-Plan and Adrian Flux etc to see what they will do it at. I have stuck with Sky now for the past 3 years and gone through this saga every year, and to be honest I don't understand why they should try and get away with charging MKIV members over the odds every year. I know that all insurers are the same, but these are supposed to offer preferred rates to mkiv members. So I was wondering if any one had been insured with Adrian Flux and how they have found them to be? Also is there any advantage of sticking with Sky that I may not have considered?
  17. Yes we have used them to fit our fuel controller and mapping, good bunch of lads
  18. Premier Inn booked, anyone interested in meeting up on Saturday night? Mr Green get my car off your avatar - how very dare you
  19. Excuse me Mr Grange, it ain't his car nor is it pink. Go get ya eyes tested
  20. I thought that it was 20+ years before a car is classified as a Classic. If it's only 15 then roll on May
  21. Menu choices Starters Wild and Button Mushrooms Dragonlady Chicken Liver and Brandy Pate +1 Mains Roast Turkey +1 Pumpkin Risotto Dragonlady Desserts Christmas Pudding Dragonlady Rich Chocolate Yuletide Log +1
  22. Oops I meant please can you pm me - Dragonlady not "+1" it's too technical for him lol. I can't cope with now having to look at who's auto-logged in It was so much easier with only one logon, well apart from Ian being able to give grief under my id
  23. Does anyone have a number or address for the premier inn? I seem to remember that someone said that there were 2 nearby so wondered which one people were staying at?
  24. Don't worry consider "+1" beaten back into his corner
