What an awesome weekend, it was lovely to catch up people. I wanted to give thanks to Mr and Mrs Wile for providing excellent convoy support (Mandy I hope you made it back for Ollie and he was everything you expected), and Mr Havard for providing much amusement in the evening with your stories. It was really nice to see a great group of car enthusiasts get together for great driving, and a laugh. For me it has always been about enjoying the cars, appreciating each others choice of vehicle and ignoring badge snobbery. Nice to see like minded people . Sharon

We thought that as it was a beautiful weekend, and possibly the last of the year that we would head over to Wales and try and rally up some of the hardcore northwest mkiv owners to venture out for pancakes on Sunday. Despite SteD's best effort it appears that noone wants to come out and play. So it looks like tomorrow it's me. +1, and the NSX enjoying the last of the good weather around North Wales. RIP the hardcore ME mkiv crew, welcome the new soft as putty NW mob. Sharon

Excuse me ....................... I was so upset by this comment that I had to go away, try and remember my password and login myself (something I haven't done for a while). I cannot believe that you would want to make such a comment when you know full well that you would love to have a NSX, the only reason why you haven't got one is because you have children and Vikki would kill you if you got rid of the supra. You never know when the kids have left home maybe you can buy one, that is you are not too old by then. So for now go and enjoy your family sized Audi. Just announed in the budget: Next month's fuel duty increase will be staged. It will rise by 1% in April, 1% in October and 1% January.

Personally I don't see the point of boycotting petrol stations either. I think that it hurts us more than the Oil companies.

I am just looking at the reviews on the internet about Tom Toms and there are a few reviews complaining about screen freezing. I am getting the feeling though that it is between Tom Tom and Garmin.

Hi, Just wanted to get peoples opinions/ recommendations of what is the best Sat Nav to get nowadays. My family bought me a Navman S30 3D just over a year ago, and to be honest it's been a bit of a pain, trying to get me to turn left when theres no turning, etc. but I have learnt to put up with it. However this week after going over a really minor bump in the road it has given up the ghost, and now when I turn it on it won't load any of the maps and shows that I am completely surrounded by speed cameras So I think its time to get rid, but I am unsure what to replace it with. I need something reliable which also gives reason distance warnings (something my current one is crap at) as I am doing quite a bit of travelling with work nowadays - so any recommendations/ opinions would be appreciated.
