wired a sat nav in the other week will have a look tomorrow. all i can remember for def. think is it was a wire on the orange plug in the passengers footwell but will double check in tomorrow.

does anyone know where i can pick up the wires for the speedometer signal and back up lights, pref around the gear selector? tryin 2 wire sat nav in but requires these wires 2 be connected. car is a j-spec, n-a, auto

managed 2 borrow a odo 2day and that seems 2 have sorted it, didnt want 2 start bypassing stuff cause i realised its still under warranty

odo reads in k still. want 2 convert it to read miles but want it reprogramd so it reads a true milage.

ok will have 2 borrow 1 from someone 2 try on car. car has already had a new sensor (speed i think) and have checked the pink wire which is in 1 piece.

mine is an auto j-spec.

my car is a n/a auto with no traction control no active spoiler no cruise control and no Speed Delimiter.

changes through the gears ok, got new sensor fitted 2day but its still happening car hasn't been played with as yet (converter or delimiter)

just read the codes and only 1 is coming up CODE 42

please help. Whilst driving at about 65-70 i get my engine managment light and warning triangle coming on and staying on also the o/d light starts flashing the lights stay on till i turn engine off. As soon as i start driving again and get 2 those speeds again they come back on and stay on. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP.

can be done via computer, need cliffnet software and a cable. also allows you to choose 1 of 15 different siren sound (apparently).
