'The S202 STi version, based on the WRX STi Spec C 17-in model, is powered by the tuned EJ20 engine that makes 320 horsepower.' Hummmmmmmmmmm
  3. Spot on ... carrier bag it is. It EXTREMELY melted so you cant tell that it ever was a bag, have to look hard and it looks like a damp/gooey patch on the exhourst. What a bastard! Had the supe off the road for a week because of that! At lest there nothing wrong with the car!
  4. ive just put them on my supra
  5. seems to smell stronger outside the car to be honest.... could be the wiring behind the speedo though???
  6. Just had a delimiter and MPH converter fitted and now seem to be getting a strong smell of buring... basically smells like buring plastic??? does this sound like a wireing problem to you guys???
  7. 2nd de-cat being the the one towards the front of the car right, if so how much are you looking for the de-cat and FCD? really dont want that induction kit tho!!! Jonny

  9. ... I was ment to buy some fully synthetic oil but accidently ended up getting some semi-synthetic... will it be ok in a standard TT, or should i exchange it for some fully synthetic??? Thanks
  10. I believe its better to use a thinner oil while the weather is colder .... any recommendations? Thanks
  11. Actually once or twice since ive had the job done the speedo hasnt registered causing the warning light etc to come on, so there must be a fault with the wiring somewhere.
  12. ...(or speedo/odo) cause a burning/melting smell??? Ie a Delimiter and MPH converter!?
  13. Hes a top bloke actually... been dealing with modding cars for quite a long time now, although he havent worked with supras that much. It was the 1st time hed fitted 1 of these to a supra. Il ring him in the morning.
  14. Looked all around the engine... no signs of any leaks etc. Sounds to me that it must be the recently wired delimiter... would also explain why it smells like its coming from the engine through the air vents and mainly on the passenger side (foot well), must be the wires behind the speedo and odo???
  15. I had a de-limiter and MHH converter recently fitted to the ECU ... is there any chance that faulty wiring could cause this smell???
  16. I fitted a de-limiter and mph converter about a week ago..... hummmmmmmmmmmm Think this could be it???
  17. What does the carbon canister actually do??? Does removing it not cause any effects????
  18. Has any one ever experienced a burning plastic smell coming from the engine? More to the pasengers side??? I first thought it was coming from the charcoal canister? The smell seems to be getting worse over the last couple days to the extent of it now being strong outside of the car once ive parked up! PLEAE CAN ANYONE HELP? Could it be caused by low oil levels? Wrong oil for this colder time of year? Coolant? Thanks for the help.
  19. Just been out and didnt really boot it at all (too scared incase im causeing more damage) the smell seems to be getting stronger to the point where its strong when i get out of the car. PLEASE HELP
