  1. I had 17s on my last sup and 19s on my current, with the correct set up, apart from a bit of a harsher ride i didnt feel much of a difference... and it does look fukin awesome Maybe if i switched back i might relise theres a difference mind.
  2. Thats what i was thinking ... untill i completely lashed one sat nite! Good old sup!
  3. looks weird without the spats and that sheering wheel made me piss myself!
  4. Not much of a DIY man myself... id rather know the jobs been done properly, although at £60 for fitting, twice is going to start to add up. Thats more then the part cost. Il wait for the weather to pass and then it it all sorted.
  5. Just before the turn of the winter period i got the mph converter and delimiter from 'Thor' which was fitted by a very well know tuner and motor electrician. The unit seemed to work fine but after a journey over about an hour the speedo completely stopped working and therefore all my warning lights come on. This only happened once when i rang Thor to see if its a possible fault with the chip. They said its very rare for the chips to be faulty and that its more then likely to be a problem with the wireing. The bloke that fitted the chip said that he was sure it was fitted correctly and wasnt near anything that could possibly heat up. After a bit of an arguement he said he would check it anyway. He's now cheaked all his wireing and said that its all very securely in place. I havent really used the Supra much over the winter and havent thought much of it. Now ive started using it again it seems that the speedo packs up after about 10 mins on most trips. Even if Thor agree to replace the chip... ive still got to pay the electrician to reinstall it (which isnt cheap). So... What do I do? If there is a fault with the chip should the company refund me the money i paid to have it fitted???? Cheers, Jonny
  6. ... when my wheels are pointing straight the steering wheels about 10 degrees to the left. Was planning to make sure the wheels are pointing straight removing the sheering wheel and put it back on so that is all straight, then was going to take it to Toyota to make sure all the tracking is balanced correctly. Is this the right thing to do and is it difficult to remove the steering wheel??? Cheers, Jonny

  15. Isnt there a chance that pads like the fast road pads would warp the standard jap discs???
  16. but a REALLY subtle flip in it ... like a DARK DARK green so it only shows in bright light! i think that would look awesome!
  17. So the pads alone wouldnt do much?
  18. Worth getting? Does it make much of a difference on the j-specs. Or should i just got all out and go for the uk breaks??? Remembering i dont really want to be spending too much money at the moment!
