  1. Somebody might correct me but I believe it's not unusual to use that sort of oil for gearbox and power steering systems. They just have a number for both systems with same oil.

    Books

All the Kathy Reichs books are excellent, finished the latest one last week. There must be about 10 or more now and I've read all of them. Have also read the Dan Brown stuff, thats how I got back into reading a couple of years ago. Now I read every lunch time at work! Maybe you wouldn't like the Kathy Reichs ones then, she's a criminal anthropologist and naturally has a lot of death and murders involved in the plot.
  3. Funny you should say that, thats exactly what I had for my dinner today, except in lytham. Foot long Italian BMT on Italian Herb and Cheese, with cheese and toasted and sweet onion dressing, mmmmmmmmm! Didn't see the red supra today but wasn't really looking.
  4. Think I'm alright for 23rd at the moment. 1. Pixelfill 2. ratm 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11.
  5. Yeah I love it! Definately happy with the decision. It's another Jurgen sourced supra. I want to take some pics but not had chance, it's always dark when I get home from work etc. Maybe at the weekend, but I want to give it a good polish if I'm going to take pics or else it's not worth it!
  6. Yup, thats the one. Seen you about when I had a red mkiii, just got the mkiv at weekend.
  7. Silver one this morning heading towards Preston, just by Whitehills and B&Q at about 8am. Kitted and winged! Might be same one I've seen parked at Warton in car park 1?
  8. Yeah I've seen that parked on the front last couple of Fridays as I've been making my weekly visit to Subway For some reason never thought to ask if it was anybodys on here.
  9. I could be interested too, just picked mine up on saturday, standard at the moment so would like to see if it's producing what it's intended to. Just depends on dates, got a very busy February. 1) Pixelfill 2) Hoff 3) Shytot 4) M5W TT 5) David.whiteside 6) Matt H? 7) Animal (as long as they can do my auto) 8) Wes 9) Rob Wild 10) Sharpie (If I can get my arse in gear) 11) raji 12) ratm
  10. First time I drive my new supra to work it has to be torrential rain and floods doesn't it! Anyway, I think my clutch slave cyclinder got a bit wet as some of the water was quite deep and there was quite a lot of slow moving traffic. Think it might have got on the actuator, if it's anything like a mkiii supra? It now feels a bit notchy towards bottom of the pedal. Anything to be worried about or maybe it will sort it's self out and lube up again in time? Still changes fine etc, just feels a bit unpleasant. Ben
  11. Sombody with more knowledge should correct me but yes they sound like the ones. You do remove them when putting skirts on then? Long black strip of plastic with clips on the back I think? If were talking the same parts then yeah, that would be great. If I'm right in what I've said, I think mine must have had a kit on it and it's been taken off before I bought it and they probably knackered up this panel when originally fitting it and just bodged it back on.
  12. I'm after one of those plastic clip on panels that run along the bottom of the sills just underneath where the doors are. I believe they are removed if sideskirts are fitted but I could be wrong. Sorry if this description is a bit vauge. Thanks Ben
  13. Tuesday evening about 5.45pm just by Stanley Park. Lovely colour, would love one in that blue.
  14. Yeah looks a bit abrasive to me, could easily see some interesting grazes up the inside of your legs from that!
  15. Maybe a bit beyond my means at the moment, but I'll very happy if it's just as clean and sparkling as those though! I'm worried my kerbed alloys will detract from it now! Gonna organise a collection between xmas and new year? Got to take them off yet!
  16. Will mine be looking that good when it comes time to collect it?

    Import Costs

This is the breakdown of the cost my new TT 6 speed from japan to UK. VAT shown on here will be more than it would be if the car you bought was say 5000 because its a percentage, but it gives you an idea. 18. Bring back Myleene Klass!
  19. Could well have been, was a bit obsured by other cars, but was the wing I got most of a look at which was much like that, so guess we've figured out who it was! Unless theres a mystery supra about!
  20. Well it had a pretty huge spoiler on back of it, not sure what type but it was all white, no metal mounting brackets or carbon blades etc.......... Edit. Could have been a Veilside rear wing although I wouldn't like to bet on it!
  21. I was coming out of BAE Systems main gate and saw a white one kitted up with a decent sized spoiler, looked in good nick but couldn't see too well as cars were in front of me. Was about 12.05 turning down Church Rd towards Wrea Green. Anybody on here?
  22. Ah well i'll let you off, it was a year ago and mine can hardly be described as red, it's definitely more of a pink!
  23. Ah well, I've seen a silver one parked up by the bank once at Warton but other than that. I'm in that area around 5 hanger so I don't get to see much of the rest of the site. You might see another around in the near future if I finally manage to find one I want! You might remember me from the Illuminations meet last year, had the red mkiii? Ben
  24. I know the one you mean, it's been around a few years now, I remember seeing it 3-4 years ago when I was an apprentice working at Samlesbury site. Always looked a good example. Remembered having a look around it to try and figure out if it was NA or turbo! I'm at Warton now and don't see any MKIVs around. Think I've seen one on site the whole time I've been there!
