Views on the auto versus the manual gearbox

I drove an n/a auto and 5spd a few years back before I had got my TT. If I was in the market for an n/a ,I would go with the 5spd version. Not that the auto is bad or anything like that, its a darn good car for the money, just the N/a engine really needs to be manually driven to keep it in the powerband better IMHO. -

I cant seem to download the xls file, getright is trying to download a file called attachment.php rather than the xls file itself. Anyway, not to worry. Whats the typical conversion price for 6spd conversions these days ? Am interested whether to go BL autobox or 6spd manual.

I found that the low rpm power that I lost, got lobbed onto to the top end (and then some!). But for me, its not just the increase in power, its the noise of chattering external wastegates and open screamer pipes which makes any journey in my supe rewarding - who needs stereos with a soundtrack like that?

Oh and you only get 1 small plastic, transparent bag per person, so if all your 100ml or less bottles dont fit, any excess gets lobbed too!

Yup. Plastic bag thingy was in effect the other week when me and the missus jetted off from Manchester. Anything over 100ml and it gets taken from you (you dont get it back! - missus was well peeved when her expensive hair products got whizzed in the bin!). I think this process will affect women more than men ?? It's all a very minor process and isnt much/if any of an inconvenience. Still, Im up for any security measures that goes toward preventing brainwarped terrorists from killing innocent people

Just cant beat the japs for wild and whacky ideas. This past weekend was the annual Baby-cry Sumo which took place at Sensoji Temple in Tokyo. Sumo wrestlers hold babies and whichever baby cries the loudest wins. The contest is thought to bring good health to the babies!! Jase
