  1. I got left negative feedback one time when there was some random hacker type guy creating fake accounts and buying buy-it now auctions with no intention of paying, then leaving negative feedback. A few others got hit by the same guy too. I complained to ebay, providing them with all the info, and about 2 weeks later, the negative feedback got removed, and the hacker guy was no longer a registered user (until he comes back via another fale account under different ID etc). Ebay is good for most things, but theres a hell of a lot of dodgy gits on there abusing the system.
  2. Looks like the Trial rear is the new veilside .... :-o
  3. Had a brand new kit fitted recently. Garage has reported tiny air leak straight pressing throttle for first time. They said it sounds like a kettle blowing (!). Any ideas what could be causing this ? Ta Jase
  4. What a silly chav. Hope he gets caught before he causes an accident.
  5. A sad loss. My sincere condolensces to his family and friends.
  6. Haha. Thought Id posted on the thread for the next meeting. I clicked a few links and it seemed to take from 'latest thread for this meeting' to another :-o But yes, a time machine would be nice as I could go back three months and decide to take my car to another garage who could do the work on the agreed timescale
  7. Ill be there if the garage dosnt stop cocking about with my supe Getting withdrawal symptons!
  8. "is it a trader on here?? or a local company??" Not a trader on here. Local company who have done a fair bit of tuning work on the car over the years. They havnt let me down in the past. But this let down kinda makes up for all the times they never let me down :-o "Go and collect it and take it elsewhere? I assume you didn't pay up front?" Havnt paid a penny. "I'd take it away, wouldn't pay and then I'd shame them to death on here" Well said
  9. OK, here goes. Dropped my supe off at the garage on Saturday 14th April to have the next stage of tuning work done. Should have been ready for collection April 25th/26th but garage hadnt even started the work when I called them on the 24th (!). Timewise, the work should be taking them no longer than 1.5-2 days of their time to do absolute max. Only unforeseen delay was one of the supplied parts didnt fit, so had to wait 2 weeks for replacement part to arrive, which they arrived at the garage a month back. To say Im getting a bit miffed is an understatement. Its getting closer and closer to JAE and my confidence in having my car ready is -100% at the moment. I dont necessarily need my car for everyday driving, but thats no reason for them to not prioritise their workload in order to get my car out before doing any new jobs. If and when the cars ready, Im expecting it to be perfect with absolutely no problems as they have had more time than necessary in order to do the work. Im also expecting a huge discount on their labour costs - which is my question to you guys - should the garage offer a good will gesture discount due to them letting me down big time ? Ive done all the weekly chasing etc and Ive just left it with them to contact me when its done. Opinions please.
  10. Looks like same kit I got for my supe. Have had no probs with it.
  11. Didnt know Toyota garages had the experience with Supras, let alone fitting aftermarket parts 2 hrs seems a bit optimistic, that for the whole job ? battery relocation, fitting new intercooler pipe, Q45 TB, removing stock T/c unit etc ?
  12. Id be wary of replica ones as there are some right crap ones knocking around at the moment that wont fit a supra even if you had a magic wand to them.
  13. Anyone on here performed a surge tank install ? Ive been quoted a days work. Does this sound reasonable ?
  14. Main throttle cable. Bought in error. PM if interested.
  15. Thats a good price. Do you have a link to makro ?
  16. Im after a pair of non-reclining bucket seats, in black cloth. Seat frames must be adjustable and supra specific (no modifications required to fit). Style - something along the lines of Corbeau Spring. Budget is £500 for everything PM me if you can can source. Thx in advance Jase
