    Lexus IS-F

    ooo, lovely. 8spd gearbox
  2. I visited that place a few years back. Bit of a mix of some real ropey crap and the odd car that appeared to be in half decent condition. Bit of a gamble buying any used car, but I would guess the odds on finding a decent motor at that place are even greater from the stuff Ive seen in the past.
  3. I use Quad Core 6700 cpu, 6gig 667mhz ram (I know, I should have gone for 800mhz!), 4 x 150gig raptors SATA, 1 x 8800GTX 768mb graphics and its yet to slow down when running 2560x1600 res games on full detail. But then I havnt tried the very latest games on it yet. Still playing SWG after 3 years lol Was happy with 4gig ram when using XP Home (which only saw 3.25gig of that), but since "upgrading" to Vista 64-bit, which is such a memory whore, Ive increase to 6 gig J
  4. Yeah, was a good meet and nice to meet old and new folks
  5. Hyper SR - didnt realise they where still going.
  6. oooo, just caught this thread. Good job as I was planning on a visit to that glorified pub/police station just off M6 J21 This new venue sounds reeet for me. Even closer than the Mascrat was Rob W - will bring the cooling panel
  7. LOL. Years ago when the mkIII supe came out it was considered to be "the medallion mans car". Dont think the MKIV can be considered to be the same, but if we all wore one of those things ......
  8. Aye. I brought it down with me at the last meet, but didnt realise you where on ya jollies. I will bring it down to next meet, whenever it is.
  9. If anyone does go, just try not to park on the grass
  10. LED's aside - Id like a gadget consisting of 2 small buttons, one each side of the steering wheel. One button to engage/disengage manu mode, the other to engage/disengage O/D mode Biggest bind on the autos is having to fiddle around for the Manu button to slip into full auto mode and cruise after hard acceleration. If there where 2 more conveniently located buttons on the steering wheel, 1) it would be much safer during those more spirited trips(!) and 2) make the auto more fun to drive. Anyone know of if there is such a gadget in existence ? I was thinking along the lines of greddys manual boost controller type format which sits on the steering wheel. Quite a neat idea and smart in appearance. Sorry if this hijacks the original thread a bit

    Solicitor help

A friend of friend thought he had got himself a right bargain off ebay a couple of years back by believing the rolex on offer was a genuine item, until a jeweller friend of mine inspected it and it turned out to be a 10$ piece of crap. Shame he paid £500 for, thinking hed saved £2500 (!) eek. No wonder the industry is booming in China.....
  12. Looks nice. I nice clean white supra always stands out from the crowd. Only part Im not 100% keen on is the completely white rear bumper. For me, Id like it with black on the underside. But thats just my taste
  13. Id imagine 2-4K'ish for a proper respray
  14. BMW admiration - oh dear. You are not very well at all Michael If it was a porsche, I could forgive you, but not BMWs or Audis
  15. Guy wouldnt have felt anything anyway, rasta man probably too high on weed !
  16. I think the supe looks better and outperforms the vast majority of cars on the road today. Not bad for a 14 year old motor. Plenty of life in the old girl yet.
  17. Got this reply from the ebayer:- Yes, it is in UK now, The car is in excellent condition, no damage, never involved in any accidents, garage kept, clear HPI, full service history! I am selling this car for £3800 including delivery anywhere in UK. I think this is a low price but i need cash for a family emergency. I have to tell you that I'm currently out of town with some major problems so pick up/view isn't an option. If you want to buy this vehicle email me back with your full name and address to start the official procedure trough eBay. They will send you a notification with ALL the info regarding delivery, purchase protection and refund policy so please provide your details before more questions. You will find 90% of answers in that notification from eBay!
  18. a 3200 stall is good for a turbo that has full boost at 3200 or starts to come in at 3200 ? Reason I ask is that my turbo dosnt even wake up till 4000 rpm, so was looking at 3800 stall.
  19. 3800rpm stall to fit stock A/T box. Prices and ETA please
  20. Thats most kind of you to offer. We should meet up someplace. Please PM me with your location. Id also like your opinion on my autobox. Its shifting fine, and dosnt appear to be any delays when changing gears, but as Ive never been in anyone elses auto, I dont know whether its being a bit on the slow side or not. Who is doing the deals on the hi-stall convertors - MVP ?
