  1. Hi Ibrar You dont happen to have a photo of the rear boot area do you on the red car ? Is the entire boot hatch in black or does the black only cover a partial area ? Cheers Jase
  2. About 7 years ago, I had a superchip + bleed valve fitted to my first MR2 turbo. Parted with £400 quid and at the time thought, hey, not bad for 35hp or whatever it gained me, until I realised a few months later it does exactly the same job as a 90 quid fuel cut defencer, lol Wouldnt touch superchips with a bargepole.
  3. If you dont mind losing a little bottom end power, whilst improving mid-top end vastly, then singles are for you. I recently switched to a single turbo. Car is slower around town and feels like an NA due to lack of 1st turbo helping with the low rpm boost, but once its rolling and the turbo kicks in, its much, much faster. Would never go back to twins
  4. Anyone got the dimensions of the repeater hole on a stock fender ? My fenders are aftermarket type which I think are using a slightly larger hole where the repeater goes. Jase
  5. Im after a pair of clear repeaters (must be completely clear with orange bulb, not clear with orange bit where the bulb goes), preferably square shape (rounded corners), that will be a perfect fit in a hole measures 48mm x 28mm. Thanks in advance Jase
  6. Honesty is the best policy for such a sensitive issue and dont beat about the bush. If it was one of my staff, I would ask him into my office, and as difficult as it would be to raise the subject, I would first find out if he has a personal hygiene problem (he could have a long-term medical related problem that is causing the odour, so not necessarily lack of cleanliness in general), and take it from there. Pinks Game

nice game, but the commentator got on my t*ts after a few plays, "before we start the next race, do you agree you where sh*t", hehe
  8. Last nights meet was very enjoyable and far exceeded my expectations with all the different variety of cars there. Great fun to meet you guys for the first time and hope to see you at the next one Jase ps. can I order food next time ?
  9. I use the powermeter SJ unit, and I guess the functions arent that much different to the ID model. What do you guys get onscreen for the transmission loss setting ? J
  10. Hi all Does anyone know if Toyota changed the Auto mission ecu from early to late model cars (by later I mean post 96+ cars). Ive got a piggy back ecu from Japan which apparently speeds up the shift times, but the pinouts only show for the later model cars. Im hoping I can use this on my 93 car. Any info much appreciated Jase
  11. What time do you guys meet ? Workload pending, might be able to meet up for the first time
  12. That pic of the black/red car is exactly what Im after. Any pics of how the owner went about painting the rear hatch ? Ta Jase
  13. Hi all Anyone got any links to pictures of a supe that has a two tone paint job ? If any of you have seen the rare revision 4 MR2s you will know what Im after. The roof is black and the rest of the car is silver (or any other colour for matter). Im after the same style for my supra, but would like to see if anyone elses attempts first Thanks Jase
  14. Im up for abolishing road tax and sticking something on petrol instead. I do 5000 miles a year, why should I pay the same amount of road tax as someone who uses the road more and also creates more pollution? Jut my 2p
  15. Id rather go with someone who has extensive fcon mapping experience than someone whos just starting out. Dont wanna be a guinea pig if you know what I mean. Looks like Im gonna have to get the passport out like Mr Canny mentioned earlier
  16. I know of 2 decent garages that charge 35'ish for mechanical work (dont quote me on the actual figure, it might be a case of giving or taking a fiver ) Ive never heard of a garage altering its hourly rates for mapping work though. One rate suits all from what Ive experienced over the years. Not sure who can map what though. Too many ecu's out there to be bothered with them all.
  17. £82 and £100 per hour for tuning work ? Gosh thats soooo expensive. London prices at TDI guess. Here in the NW, average rate is 35 per hour by reputable garages.
  18. Title says it all. Reputable tuners only please Thanks in advance Jase

    turbo lag

bigger intercooler will create a little more lag
  20. Slightly off topic: Most imported tuned supras Ive seen over here tend to have come from King Buyer in Tokyo. To be honest, when I visited KB in January of this year, I thought that 50% of their cars where of only average condition (both supra and non-supra). Tuned up to the eyeballs, but overall average. Best Supra I saw at the time was a gunmetal grey TRD widebody. Looked a beaut. If only it would have fitted into the suitcase
  21. Thats a good price. Im sure someone will take it off you soon. Shame Ive just bought one from Japan otherwise I would have been interested in yours (!).
  22. Thought Id share these few with you all. http://67.59.137.58/images/other/DSC_3093.jpg As you can see it looks very busy. Bearing in mind that this is just one 'room' out of about six in total (I visited them all, but didnt count them, but I think there was six in total). Lots of serious tuning products on show. But the highlight of the show has got to be the girlies s http://67.59.137.58/images/other/DSC_3196.jpg Ive got around 150 pics from the show. Been over 6 months now and I still havnt got round to sorting them out [GRIN][/GRIN]
  23. Mines an auto box and Im more than happy with it (even after having scores of non-supra, manual mission cars previously)
