Ok, my gauge (just been out to look) is sitting at 0.2 when engine off, so I guess there is a problem with it and potentially the 1.2 bar reading I am getting when running should be 1 bar, not the 1.2 it's reading...... do we concure on this or could I be wrong?

Maybe my Greddy boost guage is mis-reading then I am now getting quite worried tbh, she goes in to the garage on Wednesday and will ask the chaps to give her a good looking at On that note, if anyone has a greddy boost guage could they tell me where their needle sits when the engine is off please, it seems to read .2 over when the engine is off, as soon as i start it it sets to a minus figure

Thankyou for the info, I am considering a boost controller so I can restrict it to 1 bar, I really need to find a tuner I trust in the local vicinity so I can make some "educated" descisions

mine = one nearest engine, exhaust cat is still in place

1 cat is missing and she's is boosting at a constant 1.2..... would love to know also if bhp and torque should be the same, I didn't think so, but I may also be wrong

Fly matey, she has: HKS Super Dragger Exhaust HKS downpipe HKS induction kit HKS FCD HKS Plugs All been done by TDI PLC and very happy with their work so far, I have been talking 2 new tubbies with LPS or a single conversion, time will tell

Thought I would start the ownership off of a good note by RR'ing her, had some nice cars up there including a nice porsche, I am chuffed that she managed 353.5bhp and 320 torque..... I knew she was going to be quick but wasn't quite expecting that

Please be carefull anyone else in London, there has been a further uncomfirmed shooting of a terrorist in Canary Wharf. This is uncomfirmed at the moment but please be very carefull. My sister is SW1 and so is another friend and they are very scared and upset people at the moment, this is a tradgedy on a massive scale and does not appear to be over yet. My thoughts go out to you all.

Yes JohnB is near me, I am hoping he will help... The garage I am taking it to is a performance one with experience of Supra's so should be able to help. The list I provided was just typed straight from the sheets, I wasn't implying I didn't know what most of the stuff was, it was just a list, the FCD worried me as I was talking to some friends and they also advised it was a bad move. I am learning, be gentle, we all started from somewhere And I thankyou for your patience in my "learning fase"

Just reading through the bumf I got with the car TDI performance have done the following (or the following parts have been installed): JZA80 Front Pipe FCD Toyota Cam cover breather pipe small and large HKS surefire plugs SPF JZA80 There are other bits and pieces (like HKS Super Dragger exhaust) but it seems the cats were removed, I am taking her to the local Ipswich place on Sat to get them to have a look and tell me for sure. I am (as I said) slowly amassing information to help me pose better, more intelligant questions so bear with me

What would make something go tits up and start over boosting, sorry for all the silly questions, I am slowly researching boost and how my new machine works...?

I have an HKS FCD on my supe TT, and she seems, after some testing today, to be pushing 1.2 bar max.... I have been told that an FCD is not a good idea, is this right? or what do I need to be careful of with one on? If i understand an FCD correctly it allows me to use more boost than the ecu normally allows, what are the dangers if any and what would you suggest doing? remove or keep?
