Lazy post really (and yes I have searched on here but couldn't find any info) what bulbs do I need for the sidelights as one went last night? If anyone has all the bulb numbers required for the whole cluster that would be ace too - may replace all with some PIAA's if I can get them

whilst were on the subject - to reset the ECU on any other car I just unplugged the negative for 10 mins, just looking on the toyota imports forum and they say to pull out the EFI fuse to reset the ECU - surely pulling the negative for 10 mins will do?

Can this be accessed from top or bottom, I saw it's location on the pics in techincal it;s on the downpipe, looks a bit tight from the top! (only ask as I'll have to grab my trolley and jacks if so)

I replaced the dials with some from http://www.skewer.co.uk(shameless plug, great guys) so the needle maybe in the wrong place, just been out and it seems to be idling correctly now (always does when you take someone who knows to have a look:complain: ). Looked at the battery connectors and they are a bit dirty so when I get back to London tonight I'll reset the ECU and give the terminals a good clean. I have been soooo impressed witht he reliability and trouble free motoring I've had from the Supe so far, she goes in for her 4k oil change on Wednesday and fluid top up, so will ask the guys to do a full service and check over then One thing, if the lamda sensor is fooked would that also cause idle problems? would it be worth unplugging it to see also?

Why would my lights be dimming until I blip it up to 1k and the car shakes a little, I would have classed that as too low or is there something else awry I'm not thinking about? Appreciate the response

I have seen the thread below about UK spec Supra's but mine started idling low yesterday evening, was fine in the morning when I left London and now seems to be sitting at 600 as before it was at 1k solidly. It is idling to the point that my lights dim a bit and sounds like it's going to cut out (not that it does, just sounds very quiet). Someone has suggested it may be thermostat maybe knackered and the car isn't going into cold start compenstation, if this is the case where would this be located and anyone know where I can get one from. Any techincal answers would be great, but treat me like a 2 year old as my mechanical understanding is a little rusty Thank you guys n gals

I sold my celica T Sport 3 weeks ago and I so agree! Supra's are just amazing in comparison

reason being the filter failed BIG time, Seal was shot on it... all fixed FOC

I'm not driving her anywhere, she is staying put until I can diagnose the problem. The garage who did the oil change are going to have a look tomorrow, I so hope it's a nice easy one...... Someone mentioned a cracked block, but in all seriousness wouldn't have ALL the oil drained out by now if that was the case (not just when it was under pressure???). I love my Supra, but she has tested my patience today

Defo not the filter, I think it may be an oil seal somewhere or a pipe, it really has pumped out half it's oil in about 2 mins.... Filter seems reltively dry but I could see oil being pumped from somewhere

Ok, just went out to just turn engine over and can see (not really from where) oil being PUMPED out of the system, looked by my left passenger side wheel and there is a black stream of oil, checked oil level and it is now half empty............ Anyone any advice, does this sound really bad? Edit, mechanic put in brand new millers 10w60 fully synth on Friday, the filter appears not to be leaking at all, it seems to be further over (under throttle body maybe bit further)

Just checked and there was oil on the filter, but it was done up tight enough, however there seemed to be more oil ABOVE the oil filter than actually on it...... are there any oil seals that may have gone which would be located above said oil filter?

Ok, I'm not having a good run of luck recently.... I drove about 150 miles yesterday and could not get her to travel at 80mph without the boost guage reading 0 or just below, I am fairly sure I should be able to cruise without any turbo pressure negative or positive, maybe someone could confirm this? This seems to have resulted in her drinking fuel at a rate of knots!!! Today, set off to zoo with the crew (it's only 20 miles away) and just as I am getting towards the zoo the warning light comes on, then 10 seconds later the oil light comes on. I pull over, let her rest for a short while (i know should have let the oil all drain back out of engine) and checked oil. Was suprised to see her at the minimum oil level, she had an oil change on Friday last week and still had some oil, so topped it up and abandoned zoo idea to get home. Just before I departed though I noticed oil dripping out underneath, not a small amount, on the right hand side of the engine as you look at the engine. Glad to say I have got her home but was dripping oil for 30 mins after I got back. It seems to be under the oil filter but oil filter seems to be dry! I can't get under to have a proper look, but was just wondering, what else is in the general vicinity of the oil filter that could be allowing oil to escape? It only seems to do it when engine is running or for a while after I switch engine off! Oh, I have checked oil and it seems to be full, I could have over-filled it when I panicked earlier, I will drain some out before driving again.... I learn't a lesson today, be calm and wait before testing the oil level

Thankyou, just seemed to be drinking fuel today, thought it may be a rev related issue, that will teach me to replace the oil and give her new coolant

Maybe I'm going mad (always on the cards to be honest) but I am sure when I was cruising on a motorway the revs should be lower than 3k? All the way back today from Cambridge the revs were at 3k when at 80mph all the way back, is this right? Edit: It's an auto btw
