  1. Doesn't this mean the engine is finely tuned Soz, couldn't resist! Peter
  2. Cheers Graham, So basically, if I go to Racelogic get it fitted, then get the DAT file from Phil everything should be sweet? How is the DAT file stored? Flash ROM or something? Pete
  3. I'm reading several things regarding Racelogic Control setups. What exactly needs doing for it to optimally work on a MK4 TT Supra? 1) Will my system (still in box) cope with 6 cyls as I read the other day older systems only catered for 4 cyls? 2) Would I 'HAVE' to remove the stock TC system? 3) Can I re-route the stock switch to the Racelogic system to act as an ON/OFF switch? I thought it was just a simple setup procedure. I'm now a little confused. Sorry, I've never been very technical when it comes to cars! Peter
  4. How do we know when the IC is actually f*cked and no longer useful? What will be the worst case scenario if I leave replacing it until it's too late? What do I look out for except broken fins? I'm sure mine is due to be replaced, but I'd like to hold on for as long as possible. Peter
  5. Graham, you might need to disconnect the large pipe coming from the turbos (the one that goes across your air filter) to get at the smaller ones around the wastegate area! Good luck. Hope it's nothing serious! Peter
  6. The symptoms you describe sound similar to the problem I had not too long ago. It ended up being several loose piping (NOT disconnected), in the engine bay... Peter
  7. A decent NOS system can be bought for just under £500. The nozzle upgrades (usually going up in 25BHP increments) are availavble at £10 a shot... This has to be the best upgrade available for a MK4 N/A Peter
  8. Two things: 1) A few months after I bought my MK4 TT (completely stock) I believed I'd lost power to Turbo #2. After getting it checked out by a member on the list we concluded it was purely psychological as I'd got used to the cars performance. 2) If you have lost power, then check all pipes! They may NOT have come off, but could be loose. I actually lost power to turbo #2 a few months back (you will know when you have... Slooooww) but it was a result of a few pipes becoming loose, each losing a bit of pressure eventually making turbo #2 stop working. When the problem was fixed I no longer needed my bleeder to boost to 1.3 bar :-) Peter MKTT 1993 J-SPec (Caltless Hiper, HKS BOV, H2Oi)
