  1. Saw you on the way to work this morning, joining the jam where west hill meets upper richmond road, about 8 am. Flashed you from the lollipops, but you probably didn't see, caught up but you turned off onto Putney bridge road.
  2. Was coming down Effra Rd tonight around 9:30, pulled aside to let you use the full width of the road, but you pulled a three point turn and left. Was it you?
  3. Woot! Hammerite smooth in gold you say... damn B&Q for not staying open till midnight... I would have snatched someone's arm off and got the jack out tonight.
  4. Heh heh, little did ArghJae & I know either, when we met up with our two stock twinnies, we heard Chris before we saw him. What was Mr. Silver thinking? Did it have blue graphics and a TRD wing by any chance? B
  5. Will do Paul, Jake's obviously chuffed with what you did for him. No dangerous issues at the mo, just want to do some proper maintainance at some point, with someone who knows where and what they're at in a supe. You're just round the corner anyhoo, all I can say is 'see ya soon'! B
  6. Mmmmm... full alignment check....droolz. How much did that set you back J? Where's Slowdog based? B
  7. Congrats Steve, got mine about a month ago... it's fantastic to have a supe after 10 years of dreaming. Be careful though, it's really quite a beast (even when stock) to get to grips with. Have fun!
  8. Arghjae (white UK TT) and I (bronze JSpec TT) were returning home with a carload of luggage from Mile End. You were in a black j-spec, we spotted you about halfway back towards Clapham. Mini cruise We both got a thumbs up from you and were surprised that you were followed us all the way back to Morden. One clear road came up and we all hit about 110 Morden station roundabout, beep beep, a wave, and you left. Anyone here?
  9. Include postage and I'll be snatching your arm off m8. PM'd!
  10. lol For now I'll just accept it as a normal problem. Looks like a change of clamps for me then! Ah feck it, I'll get a new blingy one just to make sure.
  11. Cheers Tom, that's a weight off my mind. Just wanted to make sure. I'll keep a close eye on it once when I get the chance to install an SSQV. Thanks again!
  12. Afternoon all, Just taking "five minutes" :topsecret from the work screen to tap your brains. Noticed the other day that the piping aroung my stock BOV is gunky, and seems to eminate from the valve ins/outs. At first glance, it looks resembles engine oil. What d'you lot reckon? Is it just a case of some tightening/new clamps or would it be something more sinister? Cheers-o! B®
  13. Parked on Effra Road, Wimbledon. Seen you before I got my own... nice example there.
  14. Nice one. Looks like quite a few of us around this area. You'll probably spot me fish-tailing it out onto southwark street towards waterloo, just can't wait to leave work heh heh. Whip out your salute!
  15. Aww dude, would have been cool if you caught up. Mine's bronze, I was a car ahead of him. I don't think Mr Silver is a club member. You work around here? Will keep an eye out for you in future.
  16. Left work and saw the Supe in question, we crossed London Bridge together, cruised down to Tower Bridge northside. At that point he turned off. Tried the Supra Salute! lol Didn't get beaten up, just no response. B
  17. I'm around here right now! But mine's parked under some arches in some Kray-twin-esque type carpark. Gov'nor. Will lookout for silver when I leave.
  18. Sorry Arghjae that was entirely my fault. I reckon we heat it gentlly, roll it off as above, and the adhesive should dissolve with the help of a little parafin / diesel. I'll help you get them off. See you for the road trip today.
  19. Just to update... I have found my new baby . Many thanks to Piran for a smooth sale and a beatiful example of a Supe. It's official, I'm part of the club! Will keep a lookout for you guys. Cheers-o
  20. I think so, it would have been a rash decision and a stupid one at that. It had occured to me that the winner might have been someone he had to bump the price up. Missed out on Pete Wolf's ex GZ, somebody picked her up on Friday before I could see it. So, the search goes on. Got Supe? I think I'll message the winning bidder for the sake of curiousityand closure. Well dodgy!
  21. Never going on eBay again... too much excitement in the last few minutes of bidding to make a sane decision. Yes I will find a better one and indeed I have... Wolf having bought Matt B's monster is looking for a new owner for his GZ, imma bag that me thinks! lol talk about learning from mistakes huh. Love is blind. All start praying that he doesn't sell it to the bloke that's viewing it tomorrow before I get to lay my eyes on it.:littled: Once again, looking forward to being a proper member. Already thinking of Soop meets sometime. Arghjae... benny's gonna getCHA! Cheers-o
  22. Thanks for all your support everyone. I lost the bid at £8900. Yes you're right Red, it's a binding agreement. To be perfectly honest, the winning bidder did me a favour, I should really have seen it before making a decision. Now I have to look for another one Have fun in the meantime without me. lol STILL potential supra jockey tbh. See you all soon.
  23. Nice one, much appreciated, I'll let you know after 2:15 if the bidding goes through. Everyone wish me luck. B® Potential Supra Jockey™
  24. lol. Nah, you can't have bought from Arghjae, he hasn't taken anything off his new baby yet. I'll layed down a sort of pre-nuptual agreement with the guy. If there are any misrepresentations in the ad (and I work in advertising, heh heh), it'll be a no-sale or a reprice depending on how nice an example it really is. Mcanny, if all goes well I'm looking to come up to Leeds on Sunday... I just might need your expertise at the scene. What d'ya reckon? Gonna do an HPI check on location etc. Anyone with any advice on what to look out for and what to avoid on the car? Mucho thanks people. B
