  1. LOL I just cracked up at work LOL - I knew someone would count it... I'm not doing two more oww's because I don't deserve it My poor supe... I read the same thing on the Sylkolene webby too, there's truth in it, but then they would say these things wouldn't they? I must say RP seems to be great stuff, Arghjae had his changed the same day, replaced the plugs too so he might get a good increase in mpg too. We'll shall see.
  2. oww oww oww ow ow ow oww oww oww ow ow ow Oww ow ow ow ow ow ow ow oww oww ow ow ow ow oww oow oow oow oow oow ooww ow ow oww ow owo ww ow ow ow ow ow ow oww ow oww OOW I know... at least I assume it was by the state of it. I don't know what her PREVIOUS guardian was using, so the only way to be sure was to spend £££ on a good new filter and RP41. Might have been some of that semi-synth stuff. In any case, BLACK is not a good colour at all... Penguin... if I'm not mistaken, magnetec is great stuff but not fully synth. I might be wrong though...
  3. I've just swapped out from a mineral oil to Royal Purple R41 (10W-40W) and I'm just starting to guage the difference. I'm getting better fuel economy too... but you should have seen the state of my old oil Keep recording your mpg m8, I'm all urban miles so I'll post up on the results of the next tank for all our sakes. B
  4. My front bumper is fading, so I'll probably do what you're doing soon enough. Full respray in the same colour lol when I have some spare sheets. More realisticly, I've pwned my sideskirt recently, so a rebuild @GVN is on the cards. Thanks for the 1A1 code lads, I wouldn't have known otherwise. Ah yes, MSB (Braaaaaaan) appreciation thread is a good idea. It might get quite lonely though
  5. Thanks for the clear-up Faye's bro! I stand corrected: 1A1 it is then. Brown supras unite! Not many around are there? There are quite a few stone chips I need to fix, and I've got a sideskirt that needs rebuilding... have you guys had any experience of aquiring that paint? Will it burn a hole in my pants?
  6. I like your 1A1 Anthracite grey... but I think the correct colour designation for OE bronze is 'MSB' (Metallic Silver Bronze). Here's a pic of her at Piran's before I took ownership. It's a strange colour really, it can look completely different depending on the light, as you can see in the first photo, dark side can look almost black. LOL @ my V5 reg doccie... it's listed as brown. Well, according to that, my Supra is a 'light van' as well Some people hate this colour, but it looks great to me
  7. Yay! Lovin' the original JDM colour... can't wait for that Sonax to arrive I'm planning on getting the dash done in the same stuff to match the 'slightly gold' theme... ---> [pic] All your warm welcomes appreciated... wish I could have planned this week better to make JAE
  8. To and from the catchcan Pete...
  9. Nice project... Did you manage to sell the other one? B®
  10. Aww shite... didn't see that one early enough to plan this weekend... arse. Camping would have been hilarious. Down one for me someone!
  11. 1. Get an alarm fitted. lol. Yes. Need one of those soon. 2. Replace stock radio-cassette. lol 3. Get the antenna to go down. lol On a more serious note, just fitted Apex'i cone. Changed to fully synth Royal Purple on Monday. Next steps: 4. Transmission fluid 5. Brake fluid & braided lines 6. Defi boost guage 7. Replace BOV 8. Paint dash to J-spec bronze 9. Defi-esque dials 10. Refurb stock 17"s 11. Rebuild sideskirt @ GVN 12. Paint calipers 13. Refurb headlights & faceliftize. 14. Replace door card 15. Spend less money on car
  12. Cheers! Fantastic bbs right here. Only met Chris W and Paul K in person so far... might make the next Cobham meet - I'm after some of Sheena's famous cake My base is Putney in south (saaaf) London, and I'm up in central on the weekends...
  13. I know I've been posting around for the last couple of months, but it's dawned on me that new people tend to make an entrance by introducing themselves right here. Please accept my apologies for the lack of manners. I've owned my new supe since March, after almost being caught out by a bad eBay deal (saved from dog-buying-disaster by you lot ). Been too busy to spend some quality time to treat her well. As a result of which, I haven't taken a proper photo to put up yet. A little inspiration from some of your photos and I was down in my garage getting real personal with the cloth 'n' wax. She's never been spotted in 'was it you' either... even though I'm always taking her out for a good stretch around London Being on the board has been great and it adds oodles to the already feckin' awesome experience of owning a Supe. Allow me to pay homage to mkivsupra.net by introducing you to my pride and joy. So without further ado, here it is, taken on Sunday evening at Richmond Park. http://uk.geocities.com/[email protected]/tomiko_01__jpeg_.jpg Ben-san®'s 1994 TT GZ in Bronze Looking forward to meeting more of you in person sometime.

  15. A wingless gunmetal supe pulling into Derek's car park (Union Car Parks, The Arches), on Southwark Street this morning. Suit, tie 'n' shades. Likely to be anyone here? She was real dirty... shame on you. Own up! B®
  16. Absolutely not, don't chuck it! I was looking around for somewhere to do my stock UK's, and it worked out to about £250 for all 4... with proper machining and finishing. I'd imagine that a chrome finish would be acheivable. Don't worry too much. Your curbed wheel surely looks much better than my space-saver on the front left Yep, it was a curb too. B

    Help

    Ah... misunderstanding on my part.

    Help

Richard, The front stock UK offset is 45, however the rears are larger. You might want to listen to the uber-experienced guys above.
  19. Still at work... Osso, I might snatch that rubber off you this saturday... I'll pm you with an offer when I get the time dude Ben
  20. Hello Osso, If they're 235/45/17 then I might be interested. I'll keep you posted mate. Where are you in sussex, just in case? Cheers! B®
  21. The side has a massive inch rip in it Spun out on grease from the gas station, and hey presto, a facefull of kerb... Thanks for the size Bobbeh. Looks like I'm forking out on the internet. Does anyone know of a good place to get one? They (were) all reasonably new, so I only need the one. So far, a mate at work has told me to go to mytyres.co.uk, which seems good. Suggestions please?
  22. Mornin' all. Much to my dismay and embarassment, I've managed to puncture my front left this morning... feck, feck, feck. There goes my precious Eagle F1. Just got into work, and with black hands and a tear in the eye, I type this message. She's sitting on a space-saver and with dodgy weather here in London, coupled with the dodgy roads and minicab drivers, I'd like to get an order in a.s.a.p. for the weekend. Could any of you tell me the size details of an Eagle F1's for front stock UK 17"s? Spankyou B®
  23. On second thought, I'll never look at the missus the same way again...
