  1. instead of giving negative comments DNK,why dont you phone alex and have a chat about the car if your even intersted,or i can ask him to put the price up to 5k like all the others if that makes you happy......and i agree jurgen its cheap,but he wants a gs430 v8,as he likes my v8 supra...lol...he paid 5k for it last year in the summer so is taking a fair drop just to get the car he wants...

  7. agree but its NOT an easy swap...its one thing to write here about it...but its def another thing to do it...if you want big power then its 1jz or 2jz all the way...i just like a v8 or 2...lol...

  10. lol...you know the score swampy...i am using the stock soarer headers,and even though they are small,there still tubular...unlike the ls400 log manifolds...from the manifolds i have 3" decats in to a 3" y pipe and in to the rsr exhausty...so that should be loud enough for most people...
  11. so yesterday being tuesday,we got the subframe bolted back up as gives more clearance for dropping in the v8...then bolted the rear craddle up for the auto soarer box,sent the s/prop of to have the rear shortened...i also fitted the soarer rad as it was a lot bigger and someone had changed it for a metal one at some stage,im going to run dual electric fans for cooling,all thats left now is cut down my rsr exhaust and make a y pipe,fit the prop(but thats going to be 10 days)wire up,get the power steering pipes made and a few other bits and bobs...
  12. lol...before anyone gets excited its auto,which is reflected in the cheap price...its a complete engine and box as taken from the car...has ecu and igniters...but i will be keeping the loom...as i need a couple of plugs from it...

  14. recently bought a na that had the phr stage 1 kit on it from paul whiffin...dont know anything about the engine apart from it has the big anodised oil drain from the single turbo fitted in the sump...and on the ecu side it has a tri performance vfcc wired in(very simple to wire its written on the front)its still on the loom at present so anyone could copy where the wires go,and do themselves...also there is a electronics board wired into the ecu plugs its about 3cm squaredand covered in a waterproof hard plastic,you might be able to get of not tried...but it obviously is something to do with when it was turbo d...like i say its all still wired to the engine which is on my garage floor,its on an a/gearbox as well,...engine and box are complete,just a few vac pipes and small things...250.00 collected for the lot from herts just to clarify i will be keeping the loom...
