No way! If you lived there you coud drive/walk round London everyday, and going to see all those crazy places would be much easier
I love the fact that (when I'm there) Hammersmith Bridge (which is absolutely beautifaul at night) is 5 mins away, I can walk down the river, the west end with all its bars, shops, attractions etc is literally 10 mins away by tube, etc etc
Having said that though, I think you have to live in a fairly central or niceish part to fully appreciate living in London - I used to work in Acton, and I wouldn't really want to live there - all the hassle of London (high prices, traffic etc) but it's just like living in any boring town outside London - pure suburbia
