  1. yeah, against West Ham, Villa, Portsmouth, Man City, Sunderland and Wigan. Woo Hoo!! (By the way, I know Everton are crap, it just makes me feel like a big man slagging off Liverpool )
  2. Never been to Newcastle to be honest, but I'm sure not everyone is friendly there, just like I know that 'in general' people aren't ignorant in London - I'm certainly not, and neither are my friends and colleagues
  3. Hmmmm, stereotyping a touch there methinks. That's like me saying "It's grim oop north" (it is though, by the way )
  4. What?? He finally scored?? Well, that's probably for the best - I thought he was saving up for a hat-trick in the derby! By the way, did you see this when I posted it up the other day?
  5. No way! If you lived there you coud drive/walk round London everyday, and going to see all those crazy places would be much easier I love the fact that (when I'm there) Hammersmith Bridge (which is absolutely beautifaul at night) is 5 mins away, I can walk down the river, the west end with all its bars, shops, attractions etc is literally 10 mins away by tube, etc etc Having said that though, I think you have to live in a fairly central or niceish part to fully appreciate living in London - I used to work in Acton, and I wouldn't really want to live there - all the hassle of London (high prices, traffic etc) but it's just like living in any boring town outside London - pure suburbia
  6. What? You'd never live there either?! Judas!
  7. Look on the bright side mate - you get paid to watch telly! I do that for free 15 hours a day
  8. I love watching those tiny, dusty mice having fights and generally scurrying around in the suicide pit when you're waiting for a train. They crack me up!
  9. Well, only judging from that thread alone, but that forum doesn't seem too bad to me! I'm pretty sure that chap has just joined up as a member on here actually....
  10. You going out in Liverpool for your xmas do Kopite? I've been to Liverpool many times to watch the mighty blues , but I've only been on a night out there once. Have to it's a fantastic night out up there - the quality of the females is outstanding! Still prefer London though And c'mon James, don't let the bastards get you down!
  11. Probably Supra Chat would be the best bet
  12. Hey, jOHNYpNEU, you should start a new thread saying 'Hi, I'm a newbie' and post some pics of your car, and loads of people will say nice stuff to you like
  13. Ooooh, very central, very nice! (Well, a bit nicer than Hammersmith anyway!) Went to a fire in Hyde Park Street a few months ago, and the houses down there were awesome! I think Kiera Knightly lives round there too. Do you know her?
  14. I LOVE London , and that's despite kinda living there half the time! Sure, sometimes I get annoyed with traffic, crowds, and the fact that sometimes it seems I'm the only person walking around speaking English, but there's something very special about (specifically central) London. Besides, everyone knows it's one of the greatest cities on earth! Rallure, where do you live mate? Chelsea?
  15. Damn, I thought this thread was gonna tell me how to get hold of a Kermit or Gonzo on the cheap
  16. Well, looks like my usual friday night of TCM viewing is off then. Damn.
  17. Well that's just brilliant, thanks for nothing!
  18. I saw her in London the other day, and she's surprisingly 'not all that' in the flesh. Still would though
  19. Woah, I'm obviously way out of my depth here then! Any chance you can get it put on TCM in the UK tomorrow as well, then I'll be able to give you an honest appraisal
  20. At the risk of sounding uneducated, wasn't it only Gizmo that multiplied when he got wet?
  21. Now that's the kind of laymans term I can understand! Cheers bud!
