Never been to Newcastle to be honest, but I'm sure not everyone is friendly there, just like I know that 'in general' people aren't ignorant in London - I'm certainly not, and neither are my friends and colleagues

No way! If you lived there you coud drive/walk round London everyday, and going to see all those crazy places would be much easier I love the fact that (when I'm there) Hammersmith Bridge (which is absolutely beautifaul at night) is 5 mins away, I can walk down the river, the west end with all its bars, shops, attractions etc is literally 10 mins away by tube, etc etc Having said that though, I think you have to live in a fairly central or niceish part to fully appreciate living in London - I used to work in Acton, and I wouldn't really want to live there - all the hassle of London (high prices, traffic etc) but it's just like living in any boring town outside London - pure suburbia

You going out in Liverpool for your xmas do Kopite? I've been to Liverpool many times to watch the mighty blues , but I've only been on a night out there once. Have to it's a fantastic night out up there - the quality of the females is outstanding! Still prefer London though And c'mon James, don't let the bastards get you down!

I LOVE London , and that's despite kinda living there half the time! Sure, sometimes I get annoyed with traffic, crowds, and the fact that sometimes it seems I'm the only person walking around speaking English, but there's something very special about (specifically central) London. Besides, everyone knows it's one of the greatest cities on earth! Rallure, where do you live mate? Chelsea?
