  1. Ok, possibly slightly off topic, but what is the benefit of taking out both cats and using a restrictor ring over, say, removing only one cat and then using a boost controller to raise the boost as and when desired?
  2. Boss! You'll have to get a supra to add to your car collection now you're a member here! That event looks quality! Hopefully I'll have a soop of my own by april so I can go to the next one, but I see there was an RS there this time, so I guess I could bring mine if I still have it by then! James, surely you're not gonna miss out on the next one? Maybe I could ride with you if I haven't got my car by then, if Sab doesn't mind of course!
  3. Well yeah, when you have that much power in a FWD car you're gonna get some torque steer! Still, fun though I'm sure an R33 GTR would destroy one (especially tuned), although I gotta say the RS does look much nicer IMHO. Sometimes I think it looks a little too much like an ordinary focus from the back though....
  4. It's not bad at all actually. Before I bought it I saw a few reviews that claimed if you hit a cats eye or a small bump while the diff was locked you'd get f*cked off into the nearest hedge, but after 2 years, all I can say is that's absolute rubbish Yeah, if you nail it on a twisty B road it's........lets just say, a bit lairy, but if you're a decent driver there's nothing to worry about. That's all part of the fun anyway - cars like the audi S3 for example have a reputation as boring cos although they're quick, they just get the job done with no 'soul', but the RS certainly does! I'm sure a few people on here have a little smile when they nail their soop and the back end squirms around for grip I must say too, it's absolutely fantastic on sweeping A roads!
  5. Ummm, sorry, don't mean to bug you Matt, but I still haven't recieved anything after quite a while waiting, and I sent you a PM on 15/12/05 that apparantly still hasn't been read! It's not urgent (I mean, it's not like I have a soop to put the stickers in yet anyway!), but I just want to make sure, like a few others, that I've not been forgotten
  6. Well, at least they included some premium brand beans to make up for the wait

    Gutted!!

Ah, cool. I'm around Hammersmith & hopefully will be a proud supe owner myself soon with any luck, but I'm sure I'll be quite paranoid about it!

    Gutted!!

Sorry to hear about this kosmic, I just can't understand the kind of mentality that makes people do things like this. Seems to be happening fairly regularly to supes too judging from recent posts :thumbdown Where abouts are you in west london by the way?
  9. :needspic: someone had to say it..............
  10. Well, I suppose we're well suited then! In all seriousness though, I just thought I'd sing her praises a bit cos she really was very helpful. It's your fault I phoned them in the first place anyway!
  11. Jessica would never do anything like that Definitely would take your advice about getting everything in writing before comitting though Ro, very sensible
  12. Well, I don't live too far from you, so would it be cool if I could just have a look sometime when it's convenient, if you don't mind?
  13. That was what the quote was for Ro, but unfortunately there were a couple of cash issues and it didn't quite happen this time When I do get my supe I'll certainly be going with them though. Duffers - not sure on that one actually mate. I gotta give her a call tomorrow so I'll investigate!
  14. Ooops, should've posted a link really! Lancaster No direct number I'm afraid, you just gotta ask for her when you phone, but she'll phone you back if she's busy - saves on your phone bill too! Don't let them try to fob you off and say she's too busy or they can help - she's always there and she'll even phone you back after her shift ends
  15. Well I spot it all the time! Well, I am in the market for a black TT, and yours is lovely, but I have some cash issues until I can shift my car unfortunately. Hopefully that'll be sooner rather than later though Why, could it be for sale at some point.......
  16. I know SupRo amongst others has posted about getting a quote from lancaster, and it was generally recommended that Jessica was the girl to speak to, so I did. Just thought I'd share with you all..... Well, basically, I'd recommend any one with a supra to give her a call when your insurance is due. I was quoted £695 for a 1993 BPU, all mods declared (EBC, FMIC etc) All I can say is that's much less than any other quote I've had, even for a NA! (BTW I'm 25, full NCD, slightly dodgy postcode). Policy seems really good too, with breakdown cover, agreed value etc. You must speak to Jessica though - she'll really try to help you as much as she can and is possibly the most helpful person I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with on the end of a phone. She sounds lovely too...... (and I'm not just saying that cos she said she might check this site out ) In fact, I might start a Jessica fan club! Who wants to join? 1. Nick1980
  17. Cheers Tepster, not sure about parking in any car park with an RS though! Hopefully there are some more secret ford lovers like you out there, and less Nick haters
  18. Hey, that street looks familiar! Have you not seen my 'was it you' threads?
  19. Happy birthday, have a great day!
  20. Sounds like a plan! My mate informs me there's something called 'air stewardess night' out there He'd better not just be saying that just to get me over!
  21. I'll be over there for my holiday soon dude! When are you going back over?
