My car, for some strange reason, has got 235/45/17 Avon ZZ1s fitted on the back so, even though they are brand new, I'm having them replaced as I want the right stuff on that back axle!! So, when the correct size get fitted on Thursday I'll have 2 brand new Avon ZZ1s (235/45/17) to get rid of. They look to be about £115 each new (from a quick search on Google) so am open to reasonable offers. I can drive the tyres within a 40 - 50 mile radius otherwise I'd suggest pickup or I can organise post somehow!!

Will need to put new tyres on the car as its currently got 235/45/17s on the back (god knows why - I didn't put them on!!) and have got a price of £230 for 2 tyres, supplied and fitted (inclusive of VAT) from local supplier for 2 x Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 255/40 R17 Y. Good price? Good tyre? It seems from doing a search that this does seem to be the tyre of choice on here!!

Not trying to do the site out of cash - just that when you've got contacts it seems daft not to use them. Not on offer for sale - sorry!!

That sounds about right - £60+ with Optimax/Ultimate. Range - well I got through a tank in a little over 130 miles yesterday but I was approaching take-off speed most of the time - just testing whether that limiter comes in when they say it will!! Average I reckon about 230 - 260 miles on a tank but it depends on your driving style/type (town/motorway/country roads etc). I try not to look at the gauge anymore!

Good luck with the search - some people swear by auto, some by manual - I would suggest drive both and make your own mind up. I was always a manual man but when I bought my first Supe I went for an auto. I've now got a UK TT and stayed with the auto. Its a great gearbox for the car and well suited. Its a personal thing. Mileage is not an issue as long as there's a comprehensive service history with it. And UK vs JDM is not an issue - both are superb cars and you will not be disappointed with any combination of UK, JDM, auto or manual - just save some money for the petrol!! Mine drinks it like George Best in a desert! Oh, and welcome!
