  1. The car is in Salisbury. Anyone know of any decent tecnicians or Supra heads in the area who could cast an experienced eye over it. I'm okay with all the basics but no mechanic and would be far happier if an adult gave me an expert opinion, especially on a modded motor. I am pretty keen on it. Oh, and I would certainly pay for a good inspection!
  2. Aye, I do fancy a look. Hopefully my car will be sold tomorrow. If so I'll chase it up. Seller has not put a number on his ad. Was hoping I might have found him on here!? Just waiting for someone to start the great 'spoiler/no spoiler' conversation LOL. Never seen your car in town or I would have clocked it right away!
  3. I should have also added I don't get too hung up on power figures. Anything over 300bhp is good, more concerned with power delivery and if it drives well. Thanks for the quick replies up to now. Do you think it is a good buy from what you can see? Do also like the silver one I mentioned above from one of the forum members.
  4. My last Supra was an auto and although I prefer manual once used to it I really enjoyed it. Lot nicer driving in built up areas/traffic and no clutch worries! By the Monsween-nice car you have there (best colour!) Are you in Aberdeen?
  5. Hi all. After a couple of years away I am considering another Supe (owned 3 in the past). I quite like Chris and Alanas silver car advertised on the forum but also wondered if anyone knows this car?: http://pistonheads.com/sales/2395083.htm I am considering buying something with mods which have been done properly as I will only go down the normal route of paying for them all myself! Want a clean tidy example as I am mega fussy. Any opinions on the car above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and good to see still such a great crowd still on the forum
  6. Thanks Dude, you know when you look at pics of your own car and wonder why you are selling! Just looked in your garage, car looks awesome. Nice Zx12 too. Just changed my bike to a HondaCB1300SA. Was'nt sure at first but brilliant all round bike with plenty of potential for mods.
  7. Can the front brakes be used as a direct replacement on a J-spec 1993 TT ?
  8. Cheers for the comments. As I recall I sourced all the alloy dash parts from ebay-same guy and he has been pretty reliable. Can't find his name! Will have a look for you though.
  9. Had a few calls but no takers so far. A lot of callers that have never owned/driven a Supra are more keen on manuals. Its pretty difficult to explain the merits of an auto TT compared to 'normal' cars with an auto box. Anyway, still for sale and open to offers!
