  1. A few bumps now with no takers, maybe time to reduce the price.
  2. As Raddys says You can still buy them new for a similar price that you see used ones for sale on eBay, one on there now for £190 plus shipping which is just nuts. I'm in the same boat with pre facelift clock, only ones on are for near £200 or above for a 30 year old digital clock! Because of that bought a brand new facelift clock a couple months back from Japan that with shipping and duty etc it was around £200 all in, stupidly assumed it was same size as the pre Facelift, but it's bigger so won't fit the pre facelift dash panel. Going to have to make the hole bigger to fit it!
  3. So very tempted to put my nearly new plug cover (few hundred miles on it) back into its box and put the original one back on the car
  4. The metal undertray for the scoop will foul on the manifold and so needs trimming to clear the NA inlet manifold. Back when mine was NA I had this issue (TT now) and as for water ingress/ dust, it never caused loads of additional dust/ water for me, pretty much everything metal was polished in my engine bay back then, and I'd have been constantly cleaning/ polishing. If you do have the undertray, my advice would be not to trim it, get a copy made and sell it instead (or not run the undertray as I now do, will fetch a bit I imagine given the prices I've seen genuine scoop parts go for over the years.
  5. Might be worth renting a smoke machine, will quickly show where a leak is

    Curry

Not done many curries over the past year, but I have recently made a new batch of base gravy so I can get back on with it again For the tikka marinade I have the below video bookmarked from a YouTube channel I follow, looks fairly straightforward, just need to get my a*se into gear and start cooking again!
  7. Yeah has been regularly posted all over Facebook selling pages for a year or more
  8. Yep, happened to me not too long back, the person will have known they no longer needed/ wanted a few items that I offered for free to help out on a build, but accepted them for free anyway, then promptly sold on eBay for a tidy sum.
  9. I watch a lot of this guys videos, many hours wasted watching cars get cleaned!!
  10. yeah the Celica one is the same as the supra.
  11. I'm fairly sure Celica's of the same age share the same dome light.

    F1 2021

I would like Lewis to win it, but think this year belongs to Max.
  13. Nice looking red Supra with TRD wing spotted parked up in Cottingham. Anyone on here?
  14. Assuming keron at extreme has nothing?
  15. Hi Phil, I'll take these if still available please, you have pm
  16. There should be a little bracket there that the airbox bolts to, which in turn bolts to the car Part number is 17771-46010, it was available from Toyota a couple years ago for not much money
  17. I'm sure Keron at Xtreme was selling a pair not long back
  18. There's a set for sale on eBay at the moment, been on a while. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174558439135
  19. Try TCB parts or Xtreme performance on here, they may well have new ones available or be able to get them, shouldn't be all that expensive. I bought my one brand new a year or so ago for £75 from whifbitz, but they don't appear to list them now.
  20. Guess the wife's got a limited time in the car then!
  21. I don't think I'll ever sell mine, it's my childhood dream car. I wanted one ever since seeing an advert of a black one in a magazine my dad brought home for me one week back in 1993 and now i own one, I know I'd instantly regret it once I'd sold it. I'll continue to work on it and keep making improvements, plus I have a 6 month old son now and am looking forward to enjoying the car with him in future.
  22. Very nice, can't believe how quick it's progressed, the difference from January to now is unreal!
  23. The gasket kit is showing as part number 04446-30120, there's a few sets on eBay for around £30 Also try TCB and Keron at Xtreme on here
  24. Was just typing something along these lines, Barry is seemingly applying modern safety standards to a 30 year old design. That's not to say safety isn't and shouldn't be a consideration when putting non standard parts on our cars, but in Barry's example of the bar potentially causing additional injury then surely things like fitting a front mount or metal radiator cooling plates would as much or more of a concern to pedestrian safety, for which I doubt has ever been mentioned. For peace of mind then I'd agree, some sort of disclaimer to protect themselves would be worthwhile.
  25. That's kind of David's point I guess, the vaccines will suppress the effects in the more vulnerable reducing odds of serious issues with the virus until such a time that herd immunity kicks in and becomes more like the flu, where just the vulnerable need a booster jab every year. The vaccine has had lots of testing, initial tests have just been done a hell of a lot quicker than a vaccine would take under different circumstances, plus it's now had 6 months of worldwide vaccinations programmes to show further that it's dangers/ risks are extremely low. Long term effects on vaccines I guess would be extremely rare as most people (for now at least) will only have it two doses, it's not like a drug that can be taken regularly for months or even years which allows more chance for adverse effects to happen.
