To cut a long story short, its a left hand drive car and his insurance is from Portugal, he though his policy was european-wide fully comp, however, it was only so domestically in Portugal, as soon as he left the country it became third party only! His fault for not checking, really...

My brother had a serious accident with his MG ZR (2002) and it has been declared a writeoff. The insurance wont pay up, so we are trying to figure out a way to make the most of what we got. Whats the best way to shift the car? Scrapyards? Parts? What should I do??? Any help/contacts is really appreciated. Regards, Dan

Hi there, Got a used scuttle panel (grill that goes in between the top bonet lip and the windscreen, where the wind wipers get bolted onto), all clips are intact, want £40 for that. Also have a dash dial trim, please note that the top clips are broken but it still fits nicely, want £10 for this one. Mine was the crank itself... must have a look asap, it could fall of and cause all sorts of internal damages. The reason for mine squeeling when the aircon was switched on is the sudden strain the air con compressor makes. Dan
