  1. I get enough stick with my red soop mate
  2. 181 [sHOCK][/sHOCK] luving that! hummm will have to get a couple more quotes then...
  3. Thanks for the advice matey, Blackbird is definately my favourite of the list, however even an old one (1998) would still cost over a grand to insure! i had my license for 4 years now but with no "no-claims" its always going to be a stinger... Im willing to compromise a litle bit on the power, but not on reliability, weather protection and on insurance. The Blackbird/Busa wil be my bike of choice in the near future but until i build up at least one year no claims, ill have to stick with the boring ones!
  4. Looks stunning, but I think I would neeed something with a litle more weather protection... If I wasent going to be commuting, then the choice would get allot more exciting!
  5. The new ones look the dogs... http://www.motoforum.cz/galerie/images/Honda_VFR_1024x768.jpg but for my budget i get the pre-facelift ones, would you still consider it? http://www.bikebros.co.jp/images/wallpaper/honda/honda_vfr_1024.jpg
  6. Hello there, In order to keep the soop I decided to buy myself a bike for commuting, problem is, i know which bike I would have but it would definately make me sterile in a week (R1) . The commute is Portsmouth to Guildford (+- 1 hour) in the dreaded A3... the budget is 3k to 4K, here are the ones im considering: BMW K1200 RS Honda VFR 900 Honda Varadero 1000 Kawasaki KLV 1000 I was also considering the Blackbird and Hyabusa however, the inurance quotes are offensive! Any advice in buying/insuring is greatly appreciated. Regards, Dan

  8. No need for any of this non-sense i think... Do a quick search on here youll see that im not the first selling these, and im sure that after this thread wont be the last either. If you are really passionate about stopping people from buying it, why not take it up with all traders who sell these? If missleading advertising is the problem, then the advertising standards authority should be able to help you out. While you are it saving the worlds' consumers, get them to ban cigarrettes and alcohol, could be better use of your time.
  9. Never mind... its on sale and it will go. I am selling because of the feedback it got here, hence it being brand new (had it for some time now). Trader from here wouldnt take it back so I have to make the most of it and sell it, ill let the market decide what its worth...
  10. Sure, you are entitled to your opinion, but think about it... somoene has to find them usefull... otherwise why would traders stock this thing in the first place?
  11. so im guessing you dont want it then...

  14. If you are ok with being overcharged, Kings Toyota in Southamptom are quite good, they were initially a Supra dealer and one of the mechanics actualy drives a soop. If you book in advance theyl give you curtesy car and 10% off if you barter a bit, throw in the club name of course! and alwasy ask for a quote before they even touch your car.
  15. Bem vindo Nuno! até que enfim alguem que fala minha lingua! Dan

  17. This gotta go guys, will be going on eBay soon... Dan
  18. I did my placement with Toyota GB in their Burgh Heath HQ. Great experience overall however, my advice would be to go for a company which offers the possibility to hire you post-placement. Dan
  19. For basic serrvice, I get my cosumables separate from traders here, then just get it installed/changed by local garage. I recently got oil and filter labour charge of £15 (F1 Autocentre in Pompey) Dan
  20. Probably the most straight forward answer here!
  21. Couldnt tell you mate, i failed full decated and scraped a pass with the front one in so think it would be a close call.
  22. I kept the smaller one in the car and it passed, think it is also easier to remove the longer one.
