Dam it! Supra failed on high emmisions (1.30%) and the fact my rear lights are tinted, even though they have been for the last 5 years. He told me either i out cats back on or it wont pass! yet another friendlier MOT place has said, give it a good thrash (ive not driven it in over a month) and take it to them as it wont be a problem.

This is exactly what i get except the smoke is slightly blue aswell. Im off getting married in a month, on my return id like to book in with you if i can for a few things. This being one of them. cheers for your help

Ok mate, mine makes that horrible noise when the car is left for a significant amount of time without being used but then when used it disappears and doesnt reoccur unless left again.

Does the noise disappear when the engine heats up?

I haven't driven the car in 2 weeks and first time i crank it over it starts first time with no smoke just a fuel smell which I'd expect in cold start. Confused much!!!

Sorry to pull this out the wood work but as the car is still playing up, this is a pic of the spark plug. All of the them are the same.Soorya bout quality. As you can see the rim is extremely burnt and it stinks of fuel and oil.

I had a nur spec when I first went single but changed to whifbitz 3.5 twin box and although it sounds nice I feel it's lost some of it single note and pick. -

My v1 has done me good on a single for 18 months now. Cold start is a prob but think that's due to stem seals and not the ecu

Turned out this was my screamer pipe come lose and hitting the exhaust. All sorted

No mate they attach to side of the pad not the face or rear.

Hello all, I'm not sure this is the correct name for these, but the rear nearside pads are shifting from side to side when the brakes are applied in motion. I have had a look and there doesn't seem to be any packing either side of the pad so it can shift side to side when the brakes are applied. Can I get there from any brake supplier or will it only be toyota? Edit: I think these are called brake pad support plates Cheers Add

Afternoon all I seem to have this rattle/vibration coming from the left side of the engine under the single turbo at 2,000rpm. It happens when diving but also when staionary and reving. Although tends to dissapear when the car has been driven for a while and fully warm. I have had a look and cant see that there is any sheild or what have you lose down there. Any ideas? cheers Add
