    Brake query

    Hi all, my supra failed the MOT yesterday on the headlight being yellow and consensation and rear N/S brake pad being 1.5mm but the O/S rear pad is much thivker! would this cause the car to wobble under braking? Exactly like the feeling or a worped disc! thanks Ad
  2. Lovely lookin green supra x reg heading down into Alton town at about 1350. U were wearing a high viasability vest on. Anyone here???

  5. 45 + postage no problem mate Regarding the turbos that is very true i dont but they boost up quick so they must be ceramic

  10. Morning all, since i have had the car in TTC mode and im not hearing the 1st turbo spining, on acceleration i can hear a horrible tapping/ticking noise. It is only on acceleration and gets worse when i accelerate harder till the turbos come in and it dissapears (prob coz i cant hear it).... It doesnt occur on idle, but if i rev the engine whilst parked it does occur yet not as much! any ideas?
  11. Heard you start up and knew straight away it was a supra, think you had a veilside front bumper. but it looked and sounded awesome. Anyone on here?
  12. I've been on full boost mate obviously not for the whole 600 although I have noticed some darkish smoke on full boost... But it's generally behaving itself.

Hello all, sorry to bring this one up again but i have done about 600 miles in the car since i cleaned all the pipes out and last night took them off again to see if there was a build up again BUT there was nothing in any of the pipes at all. Could it be that the prob is elsewhere and not the turbos? thanks Ad

  15. lads that awesome thank you very much for the information! Then the cost of fitting of course Homer is there a big price difference between tubular and cast? The noise is rather important
  16. Thanks all for ya responses sorry for late reply, im working night shifts this week. The car has done 105k and i would most def get a compression and leak down test done before going any further. When you say turbo ancillaries what exactly are they? How much woukld i be looking at for a T61 price wise?
  17. As my hybrids have had a paddy and the seals have gone, i was thinking of putting a single on, with the mods i have at the moment what else would i need to get to support a T61 please? I know id need a manifold and downpipe..... Current mods: EMU, Blitz SBC ID III, 550cc, Resistor Pack, Miami-GT FMIC, TRL FCD, Denso IK24's, Walbro fuel pump, Nur spec, Full Whifbitz decatt, CW RR, HKS SSQV, AEM Wideband, HKS Oil Pressure and Water Temp.   19. Took the car out for a spin today, there is white smoke on over run think this points to turbo seals doesn't it? Cheers

  21. Andy I'm not quite sure what your saying? My hybrids have done allot more than 40k miles ian c had them then soop dogg had them before me.
