  2. After a frustrating dyno session with Ryan a while back he advised me to get a comp/leak down test done on the car. Feeling real nervous about it for some reason! Can anything go wrong whilst doin these tests? Ad

  4. I have the car in TTC mode at the moment but am sick of the exhaust booming under 3k revs so wanna put it back to sequentials, now i understand that i will need to have it remapped before the car can be driven hard but can i change it and drive the car normally ie very low boost? thanks ADD

    Ok ill explain better,was checking car over yesterday and noticed that although the car is in TTC mode the IACV VSV has a piece of piping looped over the two connections on it. BUT the EGCV VSV has not! The EGCV VSV has a pipe hanging in mid air. Is this correct? I have read the article on how to TTC your car but it doesnt say to put piping on the redundant VSV's.... thanks ADD

    Now this part is fitted, im getting much higher idle and finding that on boost 1.2 bar the AFR's are lower than before, low 10's now. is this ok? r do you think i should get it re-mapped?
  10. Maybe the leads to the coil pacs have become brittle and you disturbing them has caused them to fracture?? coil pack connectors duff?

    No the plugs weren't out,the old grommets was falling apart and basically fell back into the top part of the engine! Will that mean it could travel to the cylinders??

    I have just been replacing the PCV and grommet and the old hardened grommet has slipped back and fallen into the block, what should I do please? Ad

    I have a XL BODY OPPONENT BAG for sale, it is the complete upper torso and thighs, with stand, had it for 6 months, i hardly use it as i have moved. This is exellant for martial arts practice... £250
  18. Jagman thank you, I have one of those at work so that's a result! Prob is it only missfires under load (drive) as soon as I put it in P or N the miss fire goes. But I'll just get someone to sit in the car with it in drive. Thanks

  21. cheers swampy, they were all brand new mate yes. Just have to jump on it when its occuring and play with the connections.

Hello all, my supra has started acting strange, if i travel more than 20'ish miles it starts to missfire (regular and hard driving) but if i stick to short journeys ie under 20 miles it doesnt play up. Has anybody got any ideas what this could possibly be? i have error code 14 stored but i have replaced all connectors,coil pack and plugs 5 months (400miles) ago! ta Ad
  23. nice standard dark blue supra on the A31 jusr passed alton, had a Nur spec with the baffle in, non standard alloys. anyone here?
